TRISHNAS REPORT 2011-12

Commerce and Management Forum Commerce and Management council was formed under the banner of Trishna in order to enable the student to explore learning through activities relating to commerce and management. Management actives organized from July 2011 to March 2012. Introduction session to fresher's where the senior student gave presentation about the management activities. TRISHNA had organized MANTHAN two days inter class management fest. Main focused at to bring out the managerial skills of our students through the management games as Ice breaker, Product launch, Role play, Marketing, Mad ads, Business quiz, Case study, Best manager No learning is complete without practical exposure and training it is with view that our institution took an inciative. Our students visited to Infosys, KMF and KS&DL as part industrial visit to get real exposure to the organization structure and functions. A work shop on SEBI was organized for M.Com, BBM and B.com Students and faculty member of A.H.L, and ethics in business one day workshope orgnised for M.com. Commerce and management exhibitions were hosted by business lab as part of Trishna. Students are exhibited charts and models of various business issues which help them to gain more knowledge. SAMBHAVAMI 2012, an inter-collegiate management fest organized by Trishna, aims at bringing out the hidden talents among the wide spread management students across the colleges of Bangalore university. Its main focus is on the managerial skills and talents required for a competitive work environment. Therefore, the events of the one day carnival included Ice Breakers, Product Launch, Mock Stock, Business

Quiz, Crisis Management, Best Manager and Corporate Fashion Show. Around more than fifteen colleges were participated.

It was a greater response from the students and good feed back from the all resources persons, judges and official of institution and companies about our college, students and the activities about all the activities. We thanks to our principal DR. P V Padmaja and all my teaching and non teaching faculties for their valuable inputs and greater support for the success of the events and all my student coordinators office bearers for their effort. And as part of Trishna I thank to all my teacher coordinators.
