A variation is also "It's

a pleasure to meet you." Nice to meet you. or "Pleased to meet you." Responses: "It's a pleasure to meet you too." Nice to meet you too. or "Pleased to meet you too."

INFORMAL

In informal situations, especially in North America, introductions are also made simply saying:

"This is (name)."
E.g. My name is Sandra. This is my sister Marta. These are my brothers and sisters (names). This is my son (name). These are my parents (names). This is my friend (name). etc It is also common to just say response in this informal setting.

Whats up? Hows everything? How you doing? Hi, whats new? Fine, How about you? / What about you?

Responses:
See you later. Ok, Bye. See ya = you Bye. Bye-bye. Take care! See you around! So long! Good bye!

Responses:
Im Ok. Im doing it fine. Hey! Hi! Pretty good! Not bad. So, so. Hey, dude! Oh! Hi, (name) Hi, there! Well! or Fine! Hi, buddy!

"Hi" or "Hello" as a
