Testify (Dont Give In)

Broken was my spirit My heart was torn in two I was fearful every day In all that I would say and do Then one day, the report came Never would I be the same Took a pill to make the bed Wore a mask over my head Praised and shouted victory But went to bed uneasily Woke up every day to see The monkey on board riding me Took me out the box in fear Did not have Holy Ghost gear Doctor came for real and said, Ill break the spell. Now, go to bed. Woke up in the morning to Say my prayers and not be blue Opened up The Book and read Washed and cleaned, prayed, went to bed No more time to play with it Do all He says and dont quit Thats been seven years ago And I dont take pills no more Washed in The Blood, now sanctified Dont need an ego by my side God dont play with my stuff, yet I get happy, cause He met All of my needs. Now Im free And devils dont torment me This is my testimony The way it was, it cannot be Never will it be again Because Jesus is my friend So shoes gonna shine Hearts gonna mend There is love, and much to send Some will reach your destiny Touch Him, be healed and set free! Go and tell your family To be what God says to be And dont be afraid to do All of what God says to do Obey Him and dont give in Dont let Satan and sin win!
