School Games

Level 1 EVERYONE taking part in competition within your own school For example, intra-form swimming and the Justin Murphy football trophy. Level 2 Representing your school in competition against other schools; were already taking part in girls football and next month will be entering the rowing Level 3 Winners from local school Level 2 rounds competing at city/county level against other winning schools Level 4 Regional finalist from Level 3 competing at National level across the country

Celebrating through:

Activities at school

Curriculum Lessons Learning more about the historical, religious and cultural aspects of the Olympic games.

Extra-curricular clubs -Discovering more in your own time. Mr Gardiner will be running a competition to compose an Olympic theme in music club. The year 11s will be running a goal ball competition, goal ball is a Paralympic sport.
Cross curricular Competitions - Design an Olympic mascot and Olympic History Fact Find Miss Telfer will be launching these soon

World Sport Day

Our World Sport Day will be held at the end of the summer term; but this year it will be a little different. The whole school taking part we will need, competitors, dancers, musicians, artists, media, organisers and much, much more!
