September
1. It was his mom's idea and he thinks it will come in handy when he's famous. He
won't have to answer stupid questions all day.
2. Do not sit just anywhere because that may be where you are stuck for the rest of
the year.
3. It is basically like the cooties. Once you get it you are stuck with it until you pass
it to someone else.
4. If you cross your fingers then the person who has the Cheese Touch can't give it
to you.
5. He woke up Greg at 3 A.M. And pretended it was the first day of school when it
was the beginning of summer.
6. Greg felt sorry for him and enjoys playing all the tricks on Rowley that his brother
played on him.
7. It embarrasses Greg to have such a babyish nickname.
8. Greg's dad wants him to go outside and get fresh air and exercise.
9. A weird kid who lives halfway between Greg and Rowley's house.
10.First he got in trouble at school then with his dad. The warning is on there for a
reason.
11.Greg's dad because he blows up right away and then gets over it. (OR) Greg's
mom she waits a day or 2 when she's not upset and makes the punishment.
12.Greg thinks it will make him popular.

October
1. Shane Snella got so scared he wouldn't come out from under the bed. Then
Rowley's dad came down and didn't believe they were doing it so they had to
stop.
2. Greg didn't want to take Manny and he let it slip that they were going to 152
houses and to a scary part of town so Greg's mom made his dad go.
3. Greg said they were going to call the cops and that made the kids mad.
4. They got chased by highschoolers and had to sneak home then Greg's dad threw
water on them that ruined their candy.
November
1. He thought it was going to be like professional wrestling on TV.
2. Greg wants to be put in a different weight class in wrestling so he won't have to
wrestle Fregley every day.

3. Other than make the barbels and bench nothing. He didn't even work out after
Rowley did.
4. It's the Wizard of Oz. Greg plays a tree. There are too many kids for the parts so
the teacher keeps making up parts and songs.
December
1. Rodrick came with a video camera and Greg knew he would use the tape to
humiliate him for the rest of his life so he refused to sing.
2. The trees threw apples at Patty and broke her glasses so they had to shut down
the play because she couldn't see.
3. He wanted to use it as a fort for his action figures.
4. Greg's mom accidently switched the tags on the boxes and the Giving Tree guy
got his game.
5. He got everything on his list.
6. Manny told his mom that Greg made him eat a spider the size of an orange.
January
1. Rowley goes down the hill on the big wheel while Greg tries to knock him off
with a football.
2. Rowley broke his wrist and got a lot of attention at school.
3. The boys decided to write down all the bad words a robot should not say and the
teacher saw it and cancelled the class.
4. He figures kids can't pick on him and he would have authority. He also gets out of
his math class for 45 minutes and he doesn't have to stand outside in the cold in
the morning. He gets to drink hot chocolate each morning.
February
1. Greg's dad smashed it after he saw Greg kick Manny's snowman.
2. (Answers will vary) Greg it was his idea his were funny- he has better
illustrations. OR Rowley because his are funnier.
3. Mr. Ira changed his cartoon so mcuh that it wasn't funny anymore. It made him
look like a Teacher's Pet.
March
1. Some lady turned Rowley in for chasing kindergarteners with worms, but it was
really Greg.
2. Greg should have told Mr. Winsky right away so Rowley wouldn't have gotten in
trouble for something he didn't do.
3. (Answers depend on explanations) Greg sold Rowley out because Rowley never

did anything wrong and Greg was trying to have Rowley take the blame for
something he did.
April
1. Greg was jealous that Rowley had a new friend so he went to Fregley's to make
Rowley jealous.
2. Rowley he's not as gross he doesn't chase Greg with a booger... Fregley's
weird.
3. Greg wants to be Class Clown.
May
1. Greg's mom was the sub so he couldn't pull the pranks on her.
2. Rowley's comic is getting published in the school newspaper and kids are paying
attention to him.

4. Greg said he moved the cheese so they wouldn't know about Rowley and now he
