1. This document provides instructions for flashing the firmware on a LiteOn drive using Jungleflasher and a saved Dummy.bin file from a previous drive dump. 2. It describes loading the Dummy.bin and selecting the latest LT+ firmware version for the drive, then erasing and writing the firmware to the drive. 3. When complete, the drive will be reflashed with the latest LT+ firmware version.

Flashing a Stock or Pre-Flashed LiteOn using saved Dummy.

2. Click Open Source Firmware button. 3. Open your Dummy.bin from dump.

1. To return a LiteOn drive to stock you need your Dummy.bin (from your drive dump) and Latest LT+ FW for your drive and the latest Jungleflasher.

4. Accept the Auto load of iXtreme firmware, but ensure/check the autoloaded version is the version you want to use (i.e. the latest LT+ FW). If Autoload was loading the wrong firmware, Decline the autoload and continue with a Manual firmware load. If autoload was successful, continue at step 7.

5. Click Open Target Firmware button. 6. Open the latest LT+ firmware.

7. Click Spoof Source to Target button (Check that DVD Keys are the same in the Source and Target sections). 8. Right-click over the Source firmware section again. Select Verify Key.

9. Now check the Running log for this! Its Verified against drive

10.Click the Lite-On Erase button.

11. Click Yes.

12. Click Yes.

13. As soon as Drive returned Status 0xD0, Power cycle the drive i.e. Switch Power OFF then ON in quick succession ONCE. 14. Hopefully expected result of Serial flash found with Status 0x72 will return, showing drive now in Vendor Mode under Drive Properties.
DONT PANIC IF IT DOESNT ENTER VENDOR MODE FIRST TIME OR IF YOUR DRIVE IS NOW NOT SHOWING UP AND WILL NO LONGER EJECT SIMPLY PRESS INTRO AND CYCLE DRIVE POWER IF STILL NOT IN VENDOR MODE, TRY ERASING AGAIN!

15.Click the Write button to write Target Buffer to the drive. Expect to see: Sending Chip Erase to Port 0xFE20 Erasing: Writing target buffer to flash Writing Bank 0: ................ Writing Bank 1: ................ Writing Bank 2: ................ Writing Bank 3: ................ Flash Verification Test ! Reading Bank 0: ................ Reading Bank 1: ................ Reading Bank 2: ................ Reading Bank 3: ................ Write verified OK ! NOTE: Port 0xFE20 is the port that the drive is connected to. 16. Write Verified OK! in Running Log signals good write. 17. Send an Outro to the drive by Clicking on the Outro / ATA Reset button. 18. All done Drive now Flashed with Latest LT+ Firmware.
