It is the worth ascribed to a particular aspect of work in persons interaction with that work Dimensions :
Be Creative Earn Money Take Challenges Serve Others Have Good Working Conditions Enjoy Prestige & Status Have Good Colleagues Have a stable life & secure a job Be independent Do academic Work

Values are fundamental to life & they govern people & strategies up to a major extent Our behaviour or engagement to different things are a result of the values we hold As values influences our choices, so they are capable of determining our effectiveness,as they can influence outcome as well. Research studies indicate that people who express satisfaction with their jobs have primarily their needs met and are in tune with what they value.

VALUES WHICH EFFECT OUR WORK & PERFORMANCE


Creative & Challenge : Work where there is a scope to do new things & which give challenges to the employees potential & ability

Economic : Work which satisfies the financial needs


Independence : Where the employees is given freedom to take his own decisions & is not answerable for all his activities Service : Work which gives you opportunity to serve others.

Work Condition : Where the work condition are good, all necessary facility are given e.g Computers, AC,Telephone Status : Work which gives you a good designation & associated prestige,status,authority & power to influence others. Co-workers :Where you have good colleagues & enjoy a good relationship with them Security : Where you ensure that you will continue to have the job Academic : Work which is related to research and academics
