Reading

During the last days of the school

year, students will read the chapter book,

Ramona, The Brave. As students read,

emphasis will be placed on character and plot development. Please encourage your child to read EVERY day over the summer. Its a great leisure activity for to enjoy during the hot summer afternoons. Your child might enjoy choosing a special reading nook or building a fort out of sheets and coach cushions to make it fun. Now that your soon-to-be Forth Grader is reading so fluently, you may need to make a weekly field trip to the library!
