Field Mobility
- Mass demonstrations took place in many Syrian governorates in the Friday of" If the rulers let down us, where are the peoples?". Those demonstrations erupted in the towns and villages of Idleb countryside, in addition to the governorates Hama, Aleppo, Daraa, Deir ez-Zor, Al-Haska, Damascus and Rif Dimashq, condemning the Arab and international silence towards the massacres and killings currently committed against the Syrian people.

- In its statement, the Syrian military has said that it shot down a Turkish warplane "flying in airspace over Syrian waters". The Syrian military statement also said that an "unidentified air target" had penetrated Syrian airspace from the west on Friday at 11:40 local time (08:40 GMT), traveling at very low altitude and at high speed, and the Syrian military shot down it.(2)(3)

Internal Situation
- Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) quoted official sources in Aleppo governorate as saying that what it named "armed terrorist gangs" kidnapped "innocent civilians" and "desecrated their bodies," in Daret Azza, Aleppo countryside, an act it describes as a "barbaric massacre" in the area. It is worth mentioning that the civilians in that area were killed by shooting at them.(1)(3)(4)(6)

- Anti-Bashar Assad's regime demonstrations erupted in many districts with the capital Damascus such as Al-Midan, Kafr Sousseh, Nahr- Aisha, AlKadam Al-Asali, Jobar, Barzeh.(1)(2)

Military Situation
- Al-Assad's battalions launched a fierce attack against the defected colonel's birthplace and set fire to his house and also destroyed its contents. In addition, the Free Syrian Army (FSA) evacuated the family of the defected colonel pilot from the house before carrying out their military operation, asserting that the whole family is in a safe place.(1) - Al-Assad's detachments opened fire on many demonstrations erupted in Al-Mezzeh district from the mosques of Al-Mustafa, Al-Kafr Soussi, AlFarouk and Al-Ikhlas. In addition, the worshippers were attacked in the mosque of Great Mazzeh by the pro-Syrian regime Shabiha by knives, cudgels and iron bars to disperse the worshippers to prevent them from holding demonstrations.(1) - Some 25 elements affiliated to Assad battalions and the pro-Syrian regime Shabiha were killed in the village of Daret Azza, Aleppo. Moreover, other 15 governmental soldiers were also killed in Aleppo, Aleppo countryside, Damascus, Rif Dimashq, Daraa countryside, Homs and Homs countryside.

Political Mobility
- Abdul Basit Sida, head of the Syrian National Council (SNC), said that the international community has to protect the civilians from such an authority- that uses all kinds of weapons- through adopting a resolution under Chapter VII of the U.N. charter that enables the international community to militarily intervene with the aim of settling disputes, adding that the strategic weight of Syria "is more important than the oil factor."(2)

Activities of Civil Organizations


- The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) announced that "the humanitarian situation is deteriorating" in Syria. The UNOCHA also reported that up to 1.5 million people need humanitarian assistance inside Syria", while the previous estimations said that the number is only one million.(3)(4) - Sleem Qabani, member of the Local Coordination Committees, called, again, on the international organizations to enter Homs with a view to evacuating the injured people from that city" especially that some of them suffer from serious cases such as amputating legs and other serious medical operations that cannot be carried out in terms of the lack of the basic medical supplies." He also asserted that filed offices affiliated to the international organizations should be established in Homs and other war-torn cities, especially after the hospital have become under the direct control of security troops.(1)

- The Syrian air forces bombed Al-Bab city, Aleppo countryside using missiles, amid an exodus movement from the city.

- Abou Belal, an activist from Homs, said" 70% of Homs' infrastructure has been destroyed" due to the continuous shelling against it- at the hands of the Assad battalions for many successive months- that particularly targeted, on Friday, the districts of Juret

Political Stances Syria
- The Syrian Foreign Ministry accused what it called" terrorist groups" of spoiling all the endeavors of the International Committee of the Red Cross and Syrian Arab Red Crescent to enter Homs for evacuating the injured, sick, old people, children, women, people with special needs and other civilian citizens from the city. In addition, they prevented allowing medical aid and basic foodstuffs in, according to the Syrian Foreign Ministry!!!.

U.N.-Arab League joint envoy Kofi Annan. "We urged them to support statements on their readiness to implement Kofi Annan's plan with real actions. They have already done much, but must do more," Lavrov said, stressing that the opposite side must do the same.(3)(4) - France called on the Assad's army and security personnel to defect, after the Syrian military pilot Col. Hassan Mirei al-Hamadeh landed in his jet (Russianmade MiG-21) in Jordan yesterday where he was granted political asylum from the Jordanian authorities, describing his step as being "brave".(4)

Arab
- Mass demonstrations erupted in the Lebanon's Tripoli for expressing solidarity with the Syrian revolution, and the announcement of launching a campaign for expelling the Syrian ambassador to Lebanon in protest at the mascaras committed by the Syrian regime against its people.

International
- The British newspaper "The Times" issued a report that Russia put the two battleships and 300 naval forces on full alert, which is thought to be an evacuation operation for about 10,000 Russian citizens form Syria.(1) - Maj. Gen. Robert Mood, the head of the suspended U.N. observer mission in Syria, said that he does not think that increasing the number of the observers or even arming them would improve the situation in Syria, adding that being unarmed is a good thing as they would not be targeted.(2)
