Seek continual improvement through ongoing instructor training and by undertaking other personal and professional development opportunities. Provide students with planned and structured training programmes appropriate to their needs and goals. Seek advice and counsel from seniors and other instructors or appropriate professionals when additional expertise is needed.

OBSERVE AND PROMOTE THE PRINCIPLES OF INTEGRITY
Comply fully with the Oath and Tenets of Taekwon-Do, following the Constitution. By-Laws, and standards and Discipline policy of ITF. Require a martial art/sport environment free of illegal drugs and other performance enhancing substances within the guidelines of each country's regulatory drug agency and the World Anti-Doping code. Do not disclose any confidential information relations to any student without their written prior consent. Maintain fair, open and honest fiscal standards by keeping sound and appropriate records.

Show concern and caution towards sick and injured students and encourage students to seek medical advice when required. PROTECT STUDENTS FROM ABUSE
Refrain from all forms of harassment or abuse (verbal, physical, sexual or
emotional) based on colour, race, age, sex, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religious or ethical beliefs, marital or employment status, disability or distinguishing characteristics.

PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Display high standards in language, manner, punctuality, preparations and presentation. Conduct oneself with professionalism, dignity, courtesy, respect, control and honesty during all activities. Including, but not limited to competition and interaction with competitors, officials, administrators, the media, parents and spectators. Refrain from unnecessary criticism of other instructors and students and accept responsibility for one's own actions. Encourage your students to demonstrate the same qualities as listed above.
Any physical contact with students should be appropriate to the situation and necessary for the student's skill development. Be alert to any form of abuse directed towards students from other sources while in your care.
