Fiber cement board even can be used as complete waterproofing material. In an experiment, a water tank made of fiber cement board was filled with 200kg water, and lasted for 120 days without leakage. Its waterproof performance was also proved by CN313777 test. When used as wall material in bathroom construction, it is suggested that after waterproofing treatment, seal all openings and fill in water 100 centimeters in depth. Leave the water for 30 days to confirm waterproof performance before renovation to avoid any leakage in the future.

Sides and corners must be protected. * Two workers are required to lift the board, with two hands stretching as much as possible to hold the two sides of the board and to prevent over-bending of the board. * The board should be carried vertically. When the thickness of the board is less than 8mm, it is suggested to carry two boards in one time. <3> Storage * Make sure that the bottom is plain, the height of each pile is less than 1000mm and the storage height is less than 3000mm. * Boards vertically placed should not be scattered, pile them in an orderly way by specifications and type. * The storage place shall be dry without any water leak or penetration to ensure the excellent performance of the boards.

They can also be cut and shaped by electric circular dentate saws or curvilinear saws. If board thickness is less than 10mm, a cutting blade can be used. * Drill-holes or Square-holes on the board can be made by Electri-drill or other hole makers with distance not less than 10mm from the edge.

<2> Gap Filling * Apply adequate filling materials into the gap about 3mm in width. * Use a 50mm drawknife to bury punched-tapes into the gap. Seal the surface completely by filling materials. * Sand the joint surface gently after the joint filler is completely cured/dried. Apply a second layer filling materials with a 200mm drawknife. * Sand the joint surface gently again after the joint filler is completely cure/dried. The wall panel is now ready for plaster or paint according to the specified surface requirements.

Installation Instruction:

1. Board movement To avoid over bended, single person carry is prohibit.

2. Line drawing Draw up and down double lines upon boards thickness on axis of wall. To keep the partition wall straight, base line should be vertical to the base line of girder / board bottom.

3. Mount fixer On base of median, mount a angle iron fixer (l=200mm, 25x25x3) under girder / board bottom after each two wallboards.

4. Saw the wallboard Saw the wallboard with electrical saw according to wall size.

5. Plastering: First plaster one cement paste on edge joint of two wallboards, then plaster polymer mortar on any edge joint of one wallboard.

6. Fix Fix the wallboard with or 6 8mm steel rod with building glue.

7. Flat & vertical correction: Flat & vertical correction with 2m or above long ruler.

8. Grouting, refill slurry: Grout and slick the wall gap, full fill the big gap up & down with cement.

9. Wire & switch installation: Line the position for wires & switches, cut groove with hand-saw. Grout & slick with polymer mortar after installation.

keel with self-tapping screws. The keel is fixed onto the wall with anchors. Cross-section width of the keel should be less than 50mm, and central distance between keels should be less than 600mm. Each board should cross three keels. If there are just two keels for supporting the board, the distance of them should be less than 400mm. Chart 1 is steel keel structure chart. Chart 2 is wood keel structure chart. If the wall is very flat, the board can be fixed onto the wall directly, such as flat brick wall and the walls which are smoothed out with mortars. See chart 3.

Gap Filler is made by high-quality raw materials with the formula from USA and production

Clean the gap, it will be better to brush white latex once after that. 2. Caution: 1. The filler dries slow, multi-filling is not allowed in order to keep the coagulation effect. 2. Only after 18 hours fully dry, next step can be processed. 3. Flat lay: Use ^ type aluminum frame as supporter. First fix the keels steady and flat; with the frames of keels, flatly lie the soft packs on keels, soft packs will be supported by the keels. Concealed keel suspension system: Under this method the soft pack is lay on surface of the suspension system with concealed keel; there is a type section or special shapes. Installation steps: Suspend the keels flatly, groove the softpack around and then insert the keel into the groove; the keel will hold the softpack steady. 3. Stick method: <1> Compound flat stick method: The structure is keel + gypsum board + softpack. Fix the gypsum boards on the light steel keels, mount the softpacks on gypsum boards with special coating pins. <2> Compound insert-stick method: The structure is keel + gypsum board + softpack. Fix the gypsum boards on the light steel keels; stick several adhesive tap on back of softpack and then paste flatly on the gypsum boards; mount the nail on tenon of softpack; align the pattern and join the softpacks with plugins.
