Exodus 20:3-17

You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. 1 You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself a carved imageany likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. You shall not commit adultery. 7

8 You shall not steal.

You shall not covet your neighbors house; you shall not covet your neighbors wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbors.

You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

You shall not murder.

Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the LORD your God is giving you.

Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

No dirs falso testemunho contra o teu proximo.

No furtars. No cobiars a casa do teu prximo, no cobiars a mulher do teu prximo, nem o seu servo, nem a sua serva, nem o seu boi, nem o seu jumento, nem coisa alguma do teu prximo.

No fars para ti imagem esculpida, nem figura alguma do que h em cima no cu, nem em baixo na terra, nem nas guas debaixo da terra. No te encurvars diante delas, nem as servirs; porque eu, o Senhor teu Deus, sou Deus zeloso, que visito a iniqidade dos pais nos filhos at a terceira e quarta gerao daqueles que me odeiam. E uso de misericrdia com milhares dos que me amam e guardam os meus mandamentos.

No tomars o nome do Senhor teu Deus em vo; porque o Senhor no ter por inocente aquele que tomar o seu nome em vo.

No adulterars.

Lembra-te do dia do sbado, para o santificar. Seis dias trabalhars, e fars todo o teu trabalho; mas o stimo dia o sbado do Senhor teu Deus. Nesse dia no fars trabalho algum, nem tu, nem teu filho, nem tua filha, nem o teu servo, nem a tua serva, nem o teu animal, nem o estrangeiro que est dentro das tuas portas. No matars.

Honra a teu pai e a tua me, para que se prolonguem os teus dias na terra que o Senhor teu Deus te d.

Senhor o cu e a terra, o mar e tudo o que neles h, e ao stimo dia descansou; por isso o Senhor abenoou o dia do sbado, e o santificou.

9 No hablars contra tu prjimo falso testimonio. No te hars imagen, ni ninguna semejanza de lo que est arriba en el cielo, ni abajo en la tierra, ni en las aguas debajo de la tierra. No te inclinars a ellas, ni las honrars; porque yo soy Jehov tu Dios, fuerte, celoso, que visito la maldad de los padres sobre los hijos hasta la tercera y cuarta generacin de los que me aborrecen, y hago misericordia a millares, a los que me aman y guardan mis mandamientos.

8 No hurtars.

No codiciars la casa de tu prjimo, no codiciars la mujer de tu prjimo, ni su siervo, ni su criada, ni su buey, ni su asno, ni cosa alguna de tu prjimo.

No tomars el nombre de Jehov tu Dios en vano; porque no dar por inocente Jehov al que tomare su nombre en vano.

No cometers adulterio. 3 Acurdate del sbado para santificarlo. Seis das trabajars, y hars toda tu obra; mas el sptimo da es sbado para Jehov tu Dios; no hagas en l obra alguna, t, ni tu hijo, ni tu hija, ni tu siervo, ni tu criada, ni tu bestia, ni tu extranjero que est dentro de tus puertas. Porque en seis das hizo Jehov los cielos y la tierra, el mar, y todas las cosas que en ellos hay, y repos en el sptimo da; por tanto, Jehov bendijo el da sbado y lo santific.

6 No matars.

Honra a tu padre y a tu madre, para que tus das se alarguen en la tierra que Jehov tu Dios te da.
