"Karen" will continue to enhance the Southwest Monsoon that will bring occasional moderate to heavy rains over the llocos Region, Cordilla Administrative Region (CAR) and Central Luzon. Residents in these areas are advised to be alert against possible flashfloods and landslides. Fishing boats and other small seacrafts are advised not to venture out over the northern and eastern seaboards of Northern Luzon, over the eastern seaboard of Central Luzon, and over the seaboards of Southern Luzon due to big waves being generated by Typhoon "Karen" and by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon With this development, this is the final bulletin for this weather disturbance. II. ACTION/S TAKEN NDRRMC-OPCEN Disseminated Severe Weather Bulletin No. 10 (FINAL) on Typhoon " KAREN" to all OCD Regional Centers through SMS and facsimile and uploaded same at the NDRRMC website for further dissemination to their respective Local Disaster Risk Reduction And Management Councils (LDRRMCs) from the provincial down to the municipal levels Directed RDRRMCs concerned, through the OCD Regional Centers, to undertake precautionary measures in their Area of Responsibility (AOR) and subsequently advised local DRRMCs to initiate pre-emptive evacuation of families in low-lying and mountainous areas if situation warrants. 2
