To protect public health and safety, the City of Los Angeles Department of Public Works will continue implementing OPERATION HEALTHY STREETS, a street and sidewalk cleaning schedule for the Skid Row neighborhood. 7-Day Comprehensive Cleanups OCTOBER 24-26, 29-30 & NOVEMBER 1, 2012 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
(Removal of all public health threats including trash and hazardous waste, Power Washing, Disinfection, Motor Sweeping)

Locations and dates subject to change.
Impacts include street and lane closures, removal of street parking, limited access to businesses or residential properties, etc. Please remove all personal belongings, storage, and bulk items from roadways, sidewalks and public access areas. Do not attempt to clean or remove hazardous waste and/or items that have the potential to put the public at risk. These items will be mitigated by the City services. Absent an immediate threat to public health or safety, removed personal property will be maintained in a secure location for 90 days for the rightful owner to retrieve. Wednesday Spot Cleanups 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Impactos incluyen cierres de calles y carriles, estacionamiento pblico removido, acceso limitado a negocios o propiedades residenciales, etc. Por favor, retire todos los objetos personales, almacenamiento, y artculos voluminosos de las carreteras, aceras y reas de acceso pblico. No trate de limpiar y/o eliminar los desechos peligrosos y / o elementos que tienen el potencial de poner en riesgo al pblico. Estos artculos sern mitigados por los servicios de la Ciudad. En ausencia de una amenaza inmediata para la salud o la seguridad pblica, la propiedad personal confiscada se mantendr en un lugar seguro por un perodo no menos de 90 das para que el propietario legtimo pueda recuperarla.
