Copper Thieves the mess they leave behind is like anti-assemblage art or relevance-restored action painting Charlie Richardsons scrap metal yard, yo (a bad fence to jump) or the one on Boyne Street in Queensborough with a laburnum at the end of it always a black river of cable and no resell value its the wire within: Phoebes bank in Berlin These are the new midnight cleaners the new mugshot baddies

or the name of some high-collared band om Crown Heights attempting to extract a similar lode like paisley cowboys on hasty black-ops amongst scraggly brambles which follow the contours of a conduit map or a eaky owchart wise corrugated bandits in b-ball jerseys & with poxy eyes like they see bright lights even in the night

Sylvias canter on pointe on stage denes her eedom the place she lives in is rent-controlled Her landlord is genuinely infatuated Meanwhile her son continues to insist that the man under his bed is Kareem Abdul Jabbar, which seems unlikely or impossible When we think of all of our literature as the temporal unfoldings of a life course we can identify structural routes that make up their existence: the eccentric English, which seems wrong

and the French response, which dwells on a miraculous birth and a romance which also seems unlikely or impossible or it may be a geometric design or it may be a study om nature it may have been a lifelike portrait of an admired distant relative a Rough Guide om a well-rounded, sensitive condent and eective divorce lawyer judging by titles not covers its not in sight

it is intangible however & the very openness of the hand that writes is actually disarming

On a Phrase From the Confucian Odes 9.15.2012 Riverbank evening. Got down there just a er 6:30, said howdy to the assembled riverbank folk at the Round Rock, set up at Lawn Chair Point & had a few Main Streets & resumed reading Fishermans Fall. Theres an antler of tree trunk that extends out om the point into the water when the tides high & it was making a strange squeaking sound like a distressed leather running shoe every time a wake om a passing boat came in. I was sitting right next to a red osier shrub with copious white berries (they look like onions) threw some in the river & I swear a sh came up for some. Let the Imperial foot pass by
