CLA Cattle Market Report November 06, 2012

Stocker steer calves and feeder steer and heifer prices were $1-4 lower due to declines in the futures market, while weigh cows and bulls were steady to $1 higher. Bred cows and pairs sold at higher prices than the previous special cow sale. Holstein steers sold $3-5 lower. The next special cow sale is scheduled for December 5th with advance consignments including 300 weaned black calves and 125 fancy black and black whiteface steer and heifer calves.
