*CALL to WORSHIP- Psalm 72 Blessed be the Lord Jesus Christ, who alone does wondrous things; May He judge all people with righteousness, and the poor with justice! Blessed be His glorious name forever; this last day of the Christian Year, may His glory truly fill this whole earth! May all kings and rulers fall down before Him, and all nations give Him service! May His name last forever, and His fame continue as long as the sun shines. And may all Nations and peoples bless themselves by Him! Amen and Amen! Come, let us Praise our Lord, Jesus! *HYMN #106G All Hail the Power of Jesus Name! *CALL to and PRAYER of CONFESSION We confess, O God, the many ways our lives are not under Christs rule: Forgive us the ways we try to control others, rather than bringing them to You (Pause). Forgive us the ways we want this church to meet our needs, rather than working to touch the lives of others (Pause). Forgive us the times we have left our faith here while exiting the church door, rather than carrying it into our homes and workplaces and our community (Pause). Thank You for a new start every day, and every new year. We pray this through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, in whose name we now confess silently... *ASSURANCE of PARDON and *GLORIA PATRI *A BRIEF STATEMENT of FAITH- (inside back cover)

The Missions of the Month for November are Atlantic City Rescue Mission and Friends of Jean Webster. Please keep these ministries in your prayers. Friends of Jean Webster is located at The First Presbyterian Church on Pennsylvania Avenue in Atlantic City. Jean Webster was formally a chef in the casinos in Atlantic City. She saw so many homeless eating out of the garbage that she decided to do something about it. She started feeding them out of her home and eventually moved to the First Presbyterian Church. Jean and her friends serve 300400 guests per day five days per week. Much of the food is donated by the casinos. Jean likes to call her kitchen the house of happiness and anyone who comes in is a guest. No one is ever turned away and all the staff is volunteer. Jean says she is just following Gods orders. I just rely on God. Its like the loaves and the fishes. He never lets me go dry. AC Rescue Mission is a nonprofit, Christian social service ministry that has been helping the poor and the homeless in southern New Jersey since 1964. They supply support to men, women and families such as meals, counseling, shelter, recovery programs for addictions and housing and job placement assistance. There are 12 assisted listening devices available for people to better hear the worship service. They are located in a
basket in the narthex. CD copies of our worship service are also available every Sunday in the narthex. Check out our website for the weekly Bulletin and Insert. Our Facebook page can be found at: Pittsgrove Presbyterian Church

THE APOSTLES CREED I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth: And in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the virgin Mary, Suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; The third day he rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; From thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen. GLORIA PATRI Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost; As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Amen. DOXOLOGY Praise God from whom all blessings flow; Praise him, all creatures here below; Praise him above, ye heavenly host: Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Amen.
May the King always defend the causes of the people; May He give deliverence to those in need. In His days, may righteousness flourish, and Peace abound for all peoples!
