MATERIALS 825-209 Lion Brand AmazingTM Yarn: Vineyard 6 (8, 10) Balls Lion Brand Split Ring Stitch Markers Large-Eye Blunt Needles (Set of 6) Additional Materials Circular knitting needle size 9 (5.5 mm), 36 in. (91.5 cm)

GAUGE:

14 sts = 4 in. (10 cm) in Diagonal Lace pattern. BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR GAUGE. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. If it takes you less stitches and rows to make a 4 in. [10 cm] square, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.
STITCH EXPLANATION: Diagonal Lace Pattern (over even number of sts) Row 1 (WS): Purl. Row 2: K1, *yo, k2tog; rep from * to last st, k1. Rep Rows 1 and 2 for Diagonal Lace pattern. NOTES:

1. Pullover is knit in one piece beginning at lower edge of front and working over shoulders down to lower edge of back. 2. Measure pieces along center, not along edges. 3. Diagonal Lace pattern will create a diagonal pull around Pullover, including the seams.

PULLOVER Beg at lower edge of front, cast on 68 (80, 94) sts loosely Beg with a WS row, work in Diagonal Lace pattern until piece measures 16 1/2 (17, 17 1/2) in. (42 (43, 44.5) cm) from beg, measured straight up from cast-on edge, end with a WS row. Note: End with a WS row means that the last row you work should be a WS row, and the next row that you are ready to work will be a RS row. Shape Front of Sleeves Next Row (RS): Cast on 68 sts, beg by working across cast-on sts, k1, *yo, k2tog; rep from * to last st, k1 136 (148, 162) sts at the end of this row. Next Row (WS): Cast on 68 sts, beg by working across cast-on sts, purl to end of row 204 (216, 230) sts at the end of this row. Beg with a RS row work in Diagonal Lace pattern until sleeve measures 6 1/2 (7, 7 1/2) in. (16.5 (18, 19) cm), measured straight up from sleeve cast-on edge, end with a WS row. Divide for Neck Next Row (RS): K1, [yo, k2tog] 42 (45, 48) times, k1, bind off next 32 (32, 34) sts loosely for neck; k1, *yo, k2tog; repeat from * to last st, k1 86 (92, 98) sts on each side of neck. Next Row (WS): P86 (92, 98), cast on 32 (32, 34) sts over bound-off sts, p to end of row 204 (216, 230) sts at the end of this row. Beg with a RS row, work in Diagonal Lace pattern until piece measures 6 1/2 (7, 7 1/2) in. (16.5 (18, 19) cm) measured straight up from neck, end with a WS row. Shape Back of Sleeves Next Row (RS): Bind off first 68 sts loosely, k1, *yo, k2tog; rep from * to last st, k1 136 (148, 162) sts at the end of this row. Next Row (WS): Bind off first 68 sts loosely, purl to end of row 68 (80, 94) sts at the end of this row. Beg with a RS row, work in Diagonal Lace pattern until piece measures 16 1/2 (17, 17 1/2) in. (42 (43, 44.5) cm) measured straight up from sleeve bind off. Bind off loosely. FINISHING Fold piece in half along shoulders (see fold line in schematic). Sew side and sleeve seams. Weave in ends.
