Week A

STAFF ABSENCES: JCH ill, Sue E ill, ADB/HW MFL orals, MAP/MWB subject meeting 1, 2 + 3, KW Cope p2, MJW moderation 1, 2 + 3 STAFF NOTICES: All Year 9 Reports are due to be completed on SIMS and handwritten ones to be given to us by 9.00 Monday 21st January 2013. IEP review files There are 6 review files still to be returned. Please could you make sure they are all completed and returned to Anne Constable by the end of the week. They are needed for School Action Plus applications and our funding depends on some of this evidence. Thank you. Reminder New staff room working group to meet in 1.30 pm in the Old Library.

Internally suspended today Kyle Gillett 8Y with Mrs Walker + Lewis Bartraham 8W with Mr Pickhaver. Advance notice internally suspended on Thursday: Josh Pring 8Y with Mrs Hoare + Megan David 8H with Miss Dykes.

Registers - Please do not overwrite a mark that is already on a register, ie when I there for illness (which we have probably put on because we have received a phone call) dont alter to an n as not being there. And please just do the registers at the beginning of each lesson. No wonder Sue gets frustrated.
Please note the spelling of Arran (Cairns). It has an a not an o in it.

Year 10 GCSE Music dont forget to bring lots of instruments to the lesson tomorrow. Year 10 The following students need to attend the BTEC catch up session in S4 at 1 pm: Sam Bal, Grace Bishop, Nathan Raiment, Tom Ramsey, Harry Izatt and James Napier. Year 11 students needed for oral moderation today: Ellen Collard 11L, Kieran Clarke 11A, Jack Evans 11A, Lewis Bond 11E,Ethan Hutchins 11E, Matt Hurley 11H. All Years The Year 11 Drama Festival resumes a week today and we kick off with a great version of a theatre classic: The Caucasian Chalk Circle. A country at war. An abandoned baby - son of the governor and his wife. Grusha the servant girl rescues the child on her own. But what happens a few years later when the wars over and the real mother wants her child back? Who should the child live with. Whos the better mother? Performance Tuesday 22nd, Wednesday 23rd, Thursday 24th. Tickets available NOW from Tacchi Morris Box Office. Only 4.50 for students!! Year 11 GCSE Dance support lunchtime today.

Year 11 Bridgwater College Open Evening is on Wednesday 16 January 6.30-8.30 pm.


Year 11 - The SPACE open evening is this Thursday - 5.30 - 7.30pm. A chance to meet the teaching staff and SPACE Company members and see them in action! All welcome - students, parents and staff. If you are in year 11 and enjoy performing arts why not come along - even if you have applied to another college - it's good to see what's on offer for yourself. Applications for The SPACE need to be handed to Mrs Booth in the school office by the end of NEXT week ( or submitted online) . Application forms are available from: the school office, reception, TMAC box office and from your performing arts teacher. Year 11 GCSE Dance support lunchtime today. Year 11 Maths Revision session today: set 4/5 with Mrs Aries in M5, Set 3 with Mrs Patmore in M8.
