Course Exit Survey
Course Exit Survey
Statics (SKKK1013)
Department of Chemical Engineering at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia has developed this survey to assess the effectiveness of our engineering program. The department is deeply committed to continuous quality improvement, and this survey is an integral part of our assessment process. Please take a few minutes to help us in this important endeavour. Thank you very much for your cooperation. Semester/ Session: 01/ 2012-2013 1. In this section you are asked to rate your capability in each of the Course Learning Outcomes (CO) on a 1 to 5 numerical scale. Please take a few moments to acquaint yourself with these criteria.
5 = Strongly Agree
4 = Agree 3 = Neutral
2 = Disagree
1 = Strongly Disagree
CO1. Apply the trigonometry method or component of forces for solving the resultant of forces acting on a particle CO2. Analyze system of forces in equilibrium using concept of free-body diagram CO3. Analyze structural system using method of joint or method of section CO4. Derive mathematical equation for locating center of gravity or centroid of rigid body CO5. Apply the theorem of Pappus-Guldinus for estimating the area and volume of surfaces CO6. Estimate system of forces that include frictional forces CO7. Demonstrate step-by-step problem solving solutions using appropriate method
