Step 3 : How to place the building ?

How to place the building in the landscape ? - terrain and building - zoning (building, parking, green area, etc) - sun orientation --- you will get lecture sunlight analysis - shadow (also from other buildings, etc) - view from the building (town, nature, etc) - traffic access (pedestrian, bicycle, car, bus, etc)

Step 4 : Building Form

General types of multi-storey buildings

Row / Linear arrangement

The depth of the row as a basic urban form varies according to its orientation. A spacious building configuration: either group of indentical block types or buildings of comletely different designs.

Slab- blocks
This building form is often used in an isolated configuration. It can be extended both in lenght and height but allows little scope for variety among the room layouts.

Blocks
A compact, layered building from that gives high occupancy densities. Coupled with the need to orient with respect to the sun this results in different floor plan zoning for the respectie sides of the block.

Large scale development

It creates large forms streaching out over a wide area and it is possible to develop large tracts.

Point- blocks
These are distinctive individual buildings, often standing isolated in open space. A dominant element in town planning, this building type is frequently designed in combination with low-rise developments.

Infill
The infilling of a vacant lot is a traditional design task in the city. The piece that joints together two separate buildings has to accommodate the height and depth of each of its neighbours.

You should form your ideas from sketching to the final plan. This is Design Module which is based on suitable room size and layout.

Step 6 : Integrate all ideas - Design Module

This is Design Module which is based on suitable room size and layout. After Outline Proposal (Tender proposal), Constructing Architect adjusts it to Project Module (brick module and prefabricated element module).

This is based on the suitable room size and layout.
