DATA
Extra spaces before the data are not allowed.

Entries should be in proper word format. First letter of a word should be capitalized. (ex. SMITH COMPANY = Smith Company, PHOENIX = Phoenix, AVE = Ave).

State should be All Caps. (Ex. Ohio OH)

CONTACT NAME
Initial/s for FIRST NAME should be ALL CAPS without (.) period. No need to put spaces between the 2-letter-initials. If initials are 2-letter-initials with or without space between the two letters are accepted. If the second letter is not capitalized it is accepted as long as the first letter is capitalized. Example : JN Initials are only allowed for the FIRST NAME and not for the LAST NAME. Hyphen and apostrophe are allowed for FIRST NAME and LAST NAME.

WEBSITE ADDRESS

Dont include http:// at the start of URLs. We will need www and the domain name alone. Dont include the trailing slash (/). Be sure to go to the home landing page to get the URL. Be sure to test the URL to make sure it works. Example: Before http://www.whitehouse.gov/ After www.whitehouse.gov

Follow the sites convention for capitalization. If theres no clear convention, use all lowercase for domain-name URLs: www.yahoo.com. If you have a very long URL and notice this syntax near the end of it, you may be able to delete the http:// and the tracking tag (unless, of course, its serving a data -gathering purpose for your own site). For example: http://www.farmerinthedell.net/farmphotos/index.html?source=ad may still work as: www.farmerinthedell.net

EMAIL ADDRESS
Email addresses entered should be in standard Internet email format, i.e., [email protected]. There should be no spaces before or after the @ sign. Domain name should be correct, there should be no duplication of the @ sign in one e-mail entry. Email addresses must all include a domain (the part following the @ symbol) and should not include commas, spaces, colons, semi-colons, brackets, parentheses, or other such delimiters. Generally this would only include alphanumerics, periods, the @ symbol, the underscore, and the hyphen. Example: [email protected]

PHONE AND FAX


Format U.S. phone numbers like this: (XXX) XXX-XXXX. Use parentheses around the area code. Format phone numbers that require extensions like this: (XXX) XXX-XXXX ext. XX.
