we would like to present a tribute to teachers Our dear teachers A poem by Usman Awang Entitled Teacher oh, Teacher Hunting at the flat lands Hunted down a deer Learning by the self Like a flower that does not bloom He is the giver that is most loyal Every root of knowledge is his The lamp and lights up everything For humans before becoming old and wise He is the mother!, the father! and also friend! A line of loyalty always pouring us with advice Leader appointed by mankind A thousand years said to become wisdom If today a person is a Prime Minister in power If today a King takes his throne If today a person is a president of a country If today a person is a noble religious scholar If today a person is a lawyer who won a case If today a person is a famous writer If today anybody that becomes wiser and older Their history all begins from a teacher With his patience teaching to read and write Where ever he stands in his students eyes In a school in the capital In an old building in Hulu Terengganu He is a teacher representing a thousand book The more remote his placement is in the rural The more meaningful his duty is to the country Whatever happens to your life my teacher Wisdom soared plated with knowledge The respected title teacher remains carved Becoming a long withstanding memory till the end of life. Thank you for lending us your ears and hearts. Without teachers we would be nobody That is why we celebrate teachers day To remember them and cherish them.
