A.Rephrase the following sentences using the Passive Voice.

1. Next Sunday they will broadcast an excellent documentary on English as a global


language.

2. Nowadays English provides an important means of global communication.

3. However, the use of English has not overthrown the importance of national
languages.

4. In fact, people have been valuing the importance of their native languages.

5. Several specialists have defended fluency in at least one other language.

6. Besides English many students are also studying Spanish as a second language.

7. People did not adopt Esperanto as a global language.

8. Many people adopted the use of English as a way of communicating in the world of
business.
