Writing and expanding sentences

Before writing, students should know the order of words in a sentence. There are
at least 2 main things in a sentence; subject and verb.
e.g: He cries The sun shines She laughs
Usually, we put more when writing sentences.
Eg: He cries when they kick him. The sun shines brightly. She laughs at the
poor man.

When you want to explain something in detail, you have to add some words
either at the beginning, middle, or the end of a sentence.
1) to inform: For your information, I have two brothers / I want to tell you
that I love you so much. /
2) to ask : Do you know where is Kuantan? / Have you ever eaten nachos? / Do
you have a car? / Is he a doctor? / Does she know I love her?
3) to give reason: Actually, my car broke down yesterday. / For some reason,
the building suddenly blew up. / I missed school yesterday because I was sick. /
The reason she does not eat lunch because she is on diet.
4) time showing chronology: When I was five years old, my parents bought me
a toy car. / When I grew older, I lost my interest towards study. /As a little boy,
I cried a lot. / Once upon a time, there was a boy named Ahmad.
5) to give adjective: She has a beautiful daughter. / My father is handsome. / It
is a beautiful sunset. / I have a blue Ferrari. / The building is huge./ The
weather is cold.
6) to explain/describe: He runs very fast. / The building is collapsing. / They
eat hastily. / Amir is crying loudly./ The ice-cream is melting.
7) to show position: The family lives under the bridge./ The noise came from
outside the house. / He jumps over the fence.

Terengganu. In school, Amin is a bright student. He always scores high in
every examination.
