I. Tropical World
The Bali Lagoon, the worlds largest indoor rainforest, a tropical village and a huge childrens play area all go to make up the Tropical World. And thats not all there are also the rainforest camps, Germanys highest water-slide, the African Jungle Lift, countless, shops ,restaurants and bars, the mini golf complex.

The Bali Lagoon The 1,200-square-metre Bali Lagoon has a constant temperature of 32C. A counter-current, two water slides and whirlpools in the bays provide guests with everything they need for fun and relaxation. Where the Lagoon meets the rainforest, a grotto and a waterfall create a real jungle atmosphere. It is a unique experience to spend a night in one of the luxury rooms or lodges on the shores of the Bali Lagoon.

The worlds largest indoor rainforest The tropical vegetation in the worlds largest indoor rainforest is made up of over 50,000 plants, bushes and different types of groundcover. Altogether, 600 different species of plants can be found at Tropical Islands, including palms, ferns and

mangroves. The majority were specially brought into Tropical Islands from the Asia Pacific region and South America. The 20,000-square-metreUV-transparent film on the south side of the dome lets in natural sunlight.

Overnight accommodation at Tropical Islands Resort Rooms and lodges There are a wide range of fabulous rooms and lodges available within the Tropical Islands dome itself.These are spread through out the hall in different buildings and locations, all with a tropical theme. There are a total of 197 rooms and lodges with 522 beds available within the dome.

Holiday apartments and homes Tropical Islands also has a range of holiday apartments to rent just a few minutes away by car. The 32 apartments sleep 2-6 people, depending on size. There are also 50 comfortable holiday homes just a stonesthrow from the Tropical Islands dome with space for 4-8 people. The houses are furnished to a high standard and have fitted kitchens, gardens and parking spaces. Some of the houses even have their own sauna and a wood-burning stove.

II. Europes biggest Sauna & Spa Complex

Visitors to Tropical Islands can choose from seven different spa areas in the 10,000-square-metre Sauna & Spa Complex. Here, guests can indulge themselves with saunas, steam baths and a range of Far Eastern spa treatments in a totally unique setting. The saunas, steam baths and treatment rooms are all set in a stunning tropical location in buildings inspired by the architecture of various famous cultural sites around the world, including the Angkor Wat temple complex in Cambodia, the Waiotapu geysers in New Zealand and the Elephanta Temple in India. How to get here

Tropical Islands is located 60 km south of Berlin and 100 km north of Dresden.By Car Tropical Islands is just off the A13 Berlin/Dresden motorway, approximately 35 km south of Berlin Schnefeld. Come off the motorway at the Staakow exit and follow the signs to Tropical Islands for a further three kilometres.
