F Street Emergency Water Main Replacement Construction Project

TRAFFIC AND PARKING ADVISORY


The City of San Diego is replacing a 102-year-old deteriorating water pipeline on F Street, between 17th Street and Park Boulevard. Construction work is now in the proximity of State Route 94, requiring lane closures on State Route 94 to help reroute incoming traffic around the construction work. Because of the impacts to State Route 94, work is now required to take place Sunday through Thursday, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. To facilitate the emergency construction work, temporary road and parking stall closures and traffic detours will be required. This advisory provides a summary of the anticipated impacts. Please use caution when traveling through the construction zone, and follow the temporary detour and no parking signs. The no parking signs will be enforced. Make sure to include additional time into your daily commute. Sunday through Thursday, (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.): F Street: From 16th Street to 15th Street One lane open State Route 94: Westbound from 25th Street to 16th Street The three lanes heading into the F Street off-ramp will be progressively reduced to a single lane. Traffic control measures will begin to be placed on State Route 94 near the 25th Street overpass. Thank you for your patience and understanding while work progresses on this emergency project.
