University of East Leicestershire (2006 2009) 2:1, BA Management Studies Subjects studied for my degree included Strategy, Accountancy, Economics, International Management, Strategic Marketing Management and Operations and Supply Chain Management. As well as providing me with a thorough grounding in the mechanics of business and management, my degree work has also taught me effective time management and prioritisation skills, organisational skills and analytical skills. During my degree I frequently presented my work to seminar groups, which aided me in developing strong presentation and communication skills. For my dissertation project, I undertook a piece of research work about international expansion of internet based businesses, and the repercussions of this for more traditional retailers. I was awarded a high 2:1 grade for this piece of work, and would be excellently placed to apply this knowledge to business situations.
