Main Aims: - to provide new vocabulary to encourage students to communicate to consolidate grammar structures By the end of the lesson my students will be able to: - read - understand - communicate Sub Aims: - to write the names of the farm animals to answer simple questions to participate in conversation
Assumptions: The students may: be familiar with vocabulary related to the topic have difficulty in pronouncing the words correctly Anticipated Problems: to have a proper pronunciation to communicate
Materials:
Teaching techniques: cat Grammar structures - conversation dog - handouts - explanation donkey - flashcards duck - games - board textbook hen rabbit

Stage 1.Warm-up
Procedure T gives Ss stickers to write their names on and then to put on their clothes. (stickers) T asks Ss if they have animals at home and where they can usually see animals. T shows Ss flashcards with farm animals and asks them to repeat the words they hear. (flashcards) T reads the new vocabulary from the textbook to help Ss familiarize with the words. T helps Ss to identify the images. Ss have to complete the missing letters from the worksheets that T sticks on the board. (missing letters) T gives Ss handouts with missing vowels that they must complete and words they have to unscramble. (complete and identify) Each student receives a card with two animals on it. T asks Who likes .?/ Who doesnt like ? and Ss have to choose one animal they like and another one they dont like. (like - dont like) T gives Ss a cut and paste activity about farm animals. (homework - cut and paste) T appreciates Ss activity.
