T02-0601 VSWR of the Antenna System
Objective: Verify that the antenna VSWR complies with the corresponding engineering specifications. Result: PassFailNot RunZapped Comment & Remark: The VSWR of each feeder must be no more than 1.3 (without combiner) The VSWR of each feeder must be no more than 1.4 (with combiner) For Swap Scope:
If the DTF exceeds newly installed jumper length then rectification of VSWR is not in swap scope. Rectification if required will be till feeder jumper connector near BTS end..
It is recommended that the site Master (ANRITSU, BIRD and PORTEK) is the instrument for VSWR test. Note:
If the DTF exceeds newly installed BTS jumper/connector length then rectification of VSWR is not in Huawei swap scope
Prerequisites 1. 2. The BTS system works normally. The antenna test device is available. Procedure A 1. Power off all the DRFU/GRFUs in the test cell. Disconnect the feeder from the BTS and connect the feeder to the antenna test device. Record the measured VSWR into Attached Table 1 of Part 4 Acceptance Result. Measure the VSWRs of all the components in the antenna system by using the preceding method. Restore the original connections after the test. We can check the VSWR of newly installed jumpers by setting distance to fault location at maximum of jumper length (i.e. maximum up to 3m or depend on Expected result (1) The connection between the feeder and the device is proper. Antenna system is not more than 1.3 (without Combiner) normally. But for the sites which with shorter feeder (less than 20 M) or the site with combiner, the VSWR should no more than 1.4 (With Combiner). (2) The test result is the same as that in step 2. (3) VSWR value is very near to 1.0 and show ideal value.

Objective: Verify that the actual transmit power of the DRFUs/GRFUs meets the requirements. Result: PassFailNot RunZapped
Prerequisites
The BTS operates normally, and the calls of the DRFUs/GRFUs are normal. After BSC6000 up gradation to BSC6900, as per Huawei GTAC solution DRFU/GRFUs should be reset before TRX transmit power testing. The reason why the DRFU/GRFU is given a reset is because during the normal operation only the timeslots that are active have the power amplifier enabled as per the power saving feature. So when the transceiver is given a rest the time slots get idle and a burst is transmitted on all the time slots in order to exploit a DRFUs full power transmit capability. Procedure A Expected result
1.
As per ETSI EN 300 910 V7.4.0 (European Standard Telecommunication Series) The tolerance of the actual maximum output power of the BTS shall be 2 dB under normal conditions and 2,5 dB under
