Objective
The Objective of the site visit is to allow students to be able to gains the concept of the construction work to help out in our study field that is not attached in our textbook. There is some of the learning objective are: To understand the basics of the construction process. To exposure to the actual environment of the construction site. To know how to communicate with the construction team member on the site. To understand the important of the teamwork in the building team. To know the safety needs in the construction site and understand of safety problems and site conditions. To know the usage of construction equipment on site including mechanical plants. To know the building material to be use on the construction site. Demonstrate a systematic and orderly mind and be able to visualize the drawings and details given for substructure and reinforced concrete frame works. Compare the practical aspect of construction in the site with the theory aspect from the books. Able to understand the drawings and the details given for structures.

Content Observation
In the early morning we have reach to the site and we have saw the construction was in progress. There is one of the contractor of the site was guiding us to the construction site and also advised us to wear safety construction hat for safety purpose. There is also a container office, which is at the left side of the main entrance for them to discuss and manage the project. The operatives were busy working at the site. The contractor of the site gave us the detailed explanation of the building like how big was the building they are constructing and how the building materials are used. The building is about 40 metre of length 33 metre of width, and 66 metre height. We followed the contractor of site and walked through the construction site.

There is space provided on construction site for them to use as storage to store their construction material. There are many materials in the storage like formwork, steel bars, precast components and others. The contractor of the site explain to us about more detailed how they build up the building and also tell us some general knowledge about their normally construction working time is from 8am morning to 5pm evening and one hour lunch break time. We saw mostly worker are build up the column of the building and ready to build first floor. There are many formwork build up for column. The lift reinforced concretes are also must be building up together with the column. The buildings are constructed less than 50 per cent. There are still many works they need to be done.

Technical observation
As in the previous class we have learn many thing about the building construction. Based on our knowledge, we understand how the constructions are going on. By visiting this construction is giving us more understand about the concept. As we can see on site there is columns are building up with formwork and also steel bar. It is same things that we learned in the class. Besides that, there are foundations already been finished up. It is to ready carry the loads on the building and so other floor can start to build up. As we can see it is same as we learned in the class.

Scaffoldings - set up and temporary to support the loads.

Formworks - use to shape up the concrete.

Links - to tie up the vertical steel bar of the column.

Office container - Let them for meeting.

Steel bars - used to build reinforced concrete.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the site visit is worth to us. We have discovered many things on the actual construction work. We have more clearly about the concept of construction. We have also understood the practical of the construction is totally different than the theory that we have learned. We also learned to be aware and to be safety inside the construction site. Besides that, the teamwork is important in a project for them to construct a building. Everyone have to communicate well to each other and understand each other to achieve the goal. The contractor had giving us with the clear explanation and guidance for us to understand. In the last, the site visit is worth to us.
