Basic Mathematics and Logarithm

1. The document defines different types of numbers including natural numbers, whole numbers, integers, rational numbers, and complex numbers. 2. It provides definitions and examples of even numbers, odd numbers, prime numbers, co-prime numbers, and twin prime numbers. 3. Rational numbers are defined as numbers that can be represented as p/q where p and q are integers and q is not equal to 0. Irrational numbers are also defined and examples are provided.

Number System:N<W<I<R<Z N: Natural, W: Whole, I: Integer, R: Rational, Z: Complex

Even No.:- 2n Odd No.:- 2n+1 (n = 0, 1, 2, ) / 2n-1 ( n = 1, 2, 3, ... ) Prime No.:- The numbers which have exactly two divisors i.e. 1 and the number itself are prime numbers. E.g. 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, (6k 1)

Some prime numbers can be written as sum of two squares.

13 = 32 = 22 17 = 42 + 12 29 = 52 + 22

Co-prime No.:- The numbers which has highest common factor 1. E.g. (1, 2), (1, 3) Twin Prime No.:- If the difference between two prime numbers is 2, then these two numbers are twin prime numbers. E.g. (1, 3), (5, 7), (7, 9),
Rational No.:p

/q

p & q I (q 0)
22

Irrational N0.:- 0.343434, (

/7 or 3.14), e=2.71
