Previous work experience:

October 1, 2012 was when I started working at Triangle Fire Protection taking on a Service Technician (Tester) roll. This roll mainly included testing of fire alarms, sprinkler systems, emergency lights and auxiliary fire alarm devices, with the occasional service job. Customer service skills are a big part of this role and I strive to please the customer whenever I can. For this role I was given a vehicle and phone for work use. January 4, 2012 is when I started my Trainee Tester position at Entire Fire Protection. In this role I was accompanying one of the testers for the first three months of my employment learning how to test fire alarms, fire sprinklers, emergency lights and auxiliary fire alarm devices. Once I was considered competent, I was given a company vehicle and phone and was trusted to carry out tasks independently as one of the faces of Entire Fire. Unfortunately during mid September the company went into liquidation and thus my employment was terminated. On December 5, 2011 I began a temporary/casual role at Entire Fire Protection cleaning the stockroom so it could be ready for the new year. This casual role lasted 2 weeks and for the second week I was mainly going out with one of the testers, getting used to fire alarm panels, being shown how to test and what not. This casual position had gotten me interested in the Fire Protection Industry. In January 2008, I began employment at Countdown Supermarket in Henderson as a general assistant. I originally took up this position on a part time basis when my previous employment ended. I took up this position on a full time basis in January 2010. This role included filling stock and customer assistance. This position has honed my people-skills. I was now able to communicate with the public both effectively and confidently. I have an excellent reputation as a hard working, punctual and honest individual. This is why I was offered this position on a permanent full time basis. I dropped my weekday shifts and started Certificate in IT at Unitec and worked two days a week (16 hours) on fixed shifts. The days I was working were Saturday and Sunday. I was employed at K-mart as a temporary holiday worker from November 2006 until Early January 2007. This role included stockroom work, floorwork such as stocking the shelves and customer assistance. I picked up a lot of people skills and it gave me work experience

that I have been able to further develop. Unfortunately due to the temporary nature of this position my employment was terminated at the end of the contract.
