The Wiz

The school will be putting on a production of "The Wiz" musical on July 3rd at Sheffield City Hall. The show will feature colorful costumes, exciting song and dance numbers, and a large cast. Tickets are £6 or £5 for concessions and will be available for purchase from the school finance office starting June 1st. Parents and friends are encouraged to attend and help make it the most spectacular event the school has ever produced.

Dear Parent or Guardian

“Believe in the magic that’s inside your heart…” We are delighted to let
you know about this year’s school production - “The Wiz” on Friday 3 July at
7.30pm. For one night only we will be taking over the main stage of Sheffield
City Hall with a performance of this much loved musical. The new production
features a flower-power Munchkinland, a designer chic Emerald City and a
futuristic Oz. With exciting song and dance numbers, a large cast, colourful
costumes and a happy ever after ending, this show is not to be missed.

Tickets priced £6/£5 (concessions) go on sale at Sheffield City Hall Box


Office, Barkers Pool, Sheffield 1 – Tel. 0114 2789 789 - on 16 May. You can
also obtain tickets from the school finance office from 1 June by returning the
attached slip.

Please put Friday 3 July in your diaries and get your tickets for the event of
the year. We hope you will bring your families and friends and help us to fill
the City Hall to make this the most spectacular, large scale event High Storrs
has ever produced. The production is part of Sheffield Children’s Festival
sponsored by VINCI Education.
