Hey everybody Z3ROL3G4CY here, and I decided to write an article about what is most possibly my favorite game of all

time

Fantasy Earth Zero!

I wanna warn you guys now I am not a writer, I do not claim to be one, if anything my writing is terrible but this game deserves to be recognized! For more Info or a better explanation then I can give visit the Wiki.( http://fantasyearthzero.wikia.com/wiki/Fantasy_Earth_Zero_Wiki )

For those of you who are already familiar with Fantasy Earth Zero we currently we have a movement going on to bring it back to North America! Be sure to like the Facebook page,( http://www.facebook.com/BringBackFantasyEarthZero ) and sign the petition over at ( http://fantasyearthzero.marz.mobi ).

For those of you who have never heard of it before Fantasy Earth Zero is a Real Time Strategy 50 vs 50 Player Vs Player Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game. The game was originally developed by Square Enix as a Pay to Play game but due to it being unsuccessful the rights were sold to Gamepot. Gamepot updated and re-released it as a Free to Play and it is now an award winning game. (http://www.webmoney.jp/award2012/fantasy_earth.html)

Fantasy Earth Zero was ported over to North America with an official release on May 18th, 2010 but was shut down on March 21st, 2011 not even a year after its release due to low profits; caused by a low player base; which was caused by little to no advertising. To tell you the truth if I had not seen the side banner for it on an MMO game listing website I would not even know about it. I could have cared less about it seeing only a picture of the Netzavarian king until the banner quote appeared "Luck is For Noob's, Embrace Skill Fantasy Earth Zero".

Now I am an average everyday gamer, I like to be immersed in my gameplay its what makes it fun for me and most online games are all the same. I click on you, it auto-locks, I press the auto attack key and you die..... honestly whats the fun it that? Fantasy Earth Zero just like the banner implied is a game based upon pure skill, a level Twenty could kill a level Forty if he was skilled enough. Now why is that you may ask? Well the answer is simple the game is balanced out so everyone has the same Hp(Health)1000 and the same Pw(Skill Power)100 not to mention that most of the weapons stats are generally the same as well or can be improved to match a cash shop item. Someone who has spent Zero dollars on the game can be just as powerful as someone who spent 1000 dollars on it.

Fantasy Earth Zero also featured light Player vs Environment for players to grind gold, armor sets, items, and most of all experience. It had very few quests too meaning less time spent grinding on mobs waiting for a quest drop, or running aimlessly through a seemingly never ending forest trying to find a nonplayer character, and more time spent actually enjoying the pvp experience.

The combat in Fantasy Earth Zero is like no other game before it and is most definitely the games strongest point. Ever play a pc game where you could dodge? Fantasy Earth Zero has an active dodge system called Side Stepping that allows you to press Q to dodge jump to the Left and E to dodge jump to the Right saving you from that one attack that could end it all. It features a dynamic combat system that allows players to engage any number of enemies at once. This feature allows you to fight off groups of players, instead of only being able to lock on to one at a time when they can and will all lock on to you.

Now do not get me wrong Fantasy Earth Zero does actually have a lock on but it is different from others. The camera will lock to

one player but not follow them, a yellow circle will show you who you are locked on to which is helpful if you happen to be locked on a hidden scout. It will also allow you to see how much Hp they currently have, letting you plan a more effective strategy and conserve your Pw. Now because there is no lock on or auto aim in Fantasy Earth Zero players had to aim every attack, as well as compensate for movement bringing a new level of skill to the gaming industry. Fantasy Earth Zero supports controller input as well, instead of using the W A S D keys players just have plug in their controller and set it up in the options menu easy as that.

The only downside is the graphics are very simple as Fantasy Earth Zero was developed around the year 2000. (They look very similar to the Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions cut scenes, very vague blank faces.) But because the graphics for Fantasy Earth Zero are simple it allows players like myself with less powerful systems to still be able to run it and stay mostly lag free, besides even with its simple graphics the game play which I believe is the most important aspect of a game more than makes up for it. A good example of this is Final Fantasy 13, the graphics were fantastic but the actual game play itself just left something to be desired.

Now I am assuming I have drawn your interest and I would like to give you a detailed look at this fantastic pvp experience that most average everyday gamer's missed out on. So lets get started shall we, I am going to mostly follow how the game would flow if you made a new character. First you would have to create your character and select a class,so lets take look at the Classes.

-----------------------------------------------------

Classes---------------------------------------------------Fantasy Earth Zero initially only had Three Classes but Gained Two more throughout the updates as well as several extra skills for the initial three. The Class system works kinda like the weapon triangle in Fire Emblem. Warriors are stronger against Scouts, Scouts are stronger against Sorcerers, Sorcerers are stronger against Warriors. Fencers are anti-infantry tanks with low attack power, they might have been weak but a skilled Fencer could eliminate a group of enemies with ease. Fencers were released at the start of the season two update, players could buy an item to class change to it or kill Harpies until they gathered

Ten Harpy Downs which they could change into the item by talking to a non-player character. Later updates would have also seen the release of the Cestas, a class used for healing/repairing your buildings and causing massive damage to your opponents buildings but unfortunately North America did not get to see this class officially released.

Now lets get a little more in depth on skills. We will start with the Warrior as this is the class I played the most and know the most about.

-----------------------------------------------------

The

Warrior----------------------------------------------------

The Warrior Class originally had two separate skill trees they are able to follow as well as skills that worked between both, but as the updates rolled out the Warrior was given the option of a Greatsword as well. Most players (myself included) actually perfered to have a hybrid Warrior. A hybrid uses skills from 2 trees at once allowing for use of One Hand and Two Hand Skills. Some players (myself included) have actually built into all three trees making a Tribrid Warrior allowing for Greatsword, One Hand, and Two Hand skills. My Tribrid was set up to be able to Stun(One Hand), then Heavy Smash to death(Two Hand), with the Greatsword

Reinforce Attack skill active, making him a deadly match for any foe. The only downside to creating a hybrid build is not having enough skill points for all the skills on a tree. But enough rambling onto the shared skills.

First is Embolden: this skill lets warriors take hits without flinching. Next is the Sonic Boom Tree, Sonic Boom allows warriors to shoot a wave of energy at foes. Sonic Boom can be improved to version and a small tornado in front of the user sending enemies flying.

Force Impact which is a stronger finally to Crumble Storm which creates

Now lets look at some of the Class specific skills.

---- the

One Hander

(1H)----

A One Hander Warrior uses a Sword and Shield and is more for support in groups. Do not underestimate them though, they can still hold their own easily against large numbers.

Blaze Slash:

Can be used to set enemies on fire causing continuous damage as long as they are lit.

Reinforce Guard:
raise their defense.

Drops their attack slightly but

Shield Bash:Allows Slam Attack:

damage.

you to temporarily stun your opponent opening them up for attacks. Knocks opponents back while causing

Earth Stamper:

Slows opponents while causing damage.

----Next is the

Two Hander

(2H)----

A 2H warrior would use a pole arm such as an Axe, Hammer, Scythe, or Greatsword.

Attack Reinforce:
raises attack.

Drops their defense slightly but

Smash:

Deals heavy damage to opponents but leaves you open for attack if you miss.

Strike Smash: Heavy Smash:

----

Polearm Only Skills---Behemoth's Tail: Dragon's Tail:

Extends the reach of your attacks. Lets you attack twice at once.

Sword Rampage:

Warriors are the backbone of the army they hold the front lines as well as defend key locations on the map.

-----------------------------------------------------

Scouts----------------------------------------------------

Next up lets take a look at the Scout. Scouts are very stealthy and are for support or picking off stragglers. They can also use Hide to sneak deep behind enemy lines and reek havoc at the enemies base. Scouts had two skill trees they could follow Daggers, or a Bow. In the later updates Guns were added but unfortunately North America did not see these skills released so I decided to omite them. Scouts only had one shared skill between them making them slightly harder to hybrid.

Hide:

Briefly become invisible to the enemy.

----

Bow Scouts(Bscout)---Air Raid:

Shoot an arrow with an Area of Effect.

Blaze Shot: Arrow Rain:

Shoot a flaming arrow that can be used to set enemies on fire causing continuous damage as long as they are lit. Rain arrows down on a target area for an Area of Effect attack.

them.

Create a Special Poison cloud that temporarily Blinds enemies. Striking your opponent will temporarily slow

Guard Break: Arm Break:

Striking your opponent will temporarily lower their Defense. Striking your opponent will temporarily lock their skills making them unable to attack.[/list]

-----------------------------------------------------

Sorcerers----------------------------------------------------

After Scouts are Sorcerers. Sorcerers are magical tanks with an arsenal of powerful spells to back them up. Sorcerers are the easiest class to hybrid due to them being able to share all skills in between trees. Now just to warn you I did not have a chance to play the Sorcerer very much so these descriptions may not be 100% accurate.

Casting/Chant:

All Sorcerers start with this and it must be active to use B, C, and D level skills.

----

Lightning Tree---Lightning/Light A:
ignores elevation. Calls down a lightning bolt at

Lighnting Spear/Light B:

Shoot a lightning bolt that pierces and hits multiple enemies.

Thunderbolt/Light C:

Calls down an Area of Effect lightning bolt that ignores elevation and causes knock back.

----

Fire Tree---Fire/Fire A:
Spew fire out of your staff that can be used to set enemies on fire causing continuous damage as long as they are lit.

Fire Lance/Fire B:

A stronger form of Fire.

Spark Flare/Fire C:

Shoot a large fireball that explodes on impact setting enemies on fire causing continuous damage as long as they are lit. This skill actually hits twice and if the fireball hits first the explosion is slightly weaker, if the fireball misses the explosion is slightly stronger.

----

Ice Tree---Cold Bolt/Ice A:

enemies. Shoot a chunk of ice that slows

Ice Javelin/Ice B: Cold Wave/Ice C:

Shoot a large chunk of ice that temporarily roots enemies to the ground so they cant move. Spew ice out of your staff that causes slow and knockback.

----

Staff Only Skills---Judgment Ray/Light D: Hellfire/Fire D:

version of Spark Flare. Call down a lightning bolt that can hit 3 times and ignores elevation. I believe this is a stronger

Blizzard Caress/Ice D:

Works like Spark Flare only with ice, roots enemies and causes slow.

----

Witch/Familiar Only Skills----

These skills were added in the Witch Project update and require that you are equipped with a familiar. I am not quite sure what these skill do having never gotten to use them but I will list them anyway.

Meteor Impact: Gravity Field:

Ignore Elevation. Causes damage over time.

Radiant Shield:

Causes slow.

-----------------------------------------------------

Fencers----------------------------------------------------

Fencers are anti-infantry tanks with no bonus against any other

classes, but at the same time a skilled Fencer can eliminate a group of enemies with ease. They are meant for pushing areas of heavy combat and destroying enemy buffs.

Downdrive:

Removes An enemies knock back immunity(Embolden).

Flash Stinger:
three times.

Ignores Embolden and can hit up to

Deceitful Action: Finishing Thrust:

Cestas---------------------------------------------------Since the Cestas Class was never released in North America I have decided to omite it but if you want to know more here is the Wiki link. ( http://fantasyearthzero.wikia.com/wiki/Cestas ) All the classes also have a basic attack that takes no Pw to use but it is very weak. The basic attack is used for sapping when your Pw is to low to use a skill. In between basic attacks your Pw would slowly recharge and still let you sap effectively. I will explain what Sapping is later on in Buildings. Now that we

have created our character you would be asked to select a Kingdom so lets look at that next.

-----------------------------------------------------

Kingdoms----------------------------------------------------

Fantasy Earth Zero takes place in the world of Melpharia which has been divided into 5 warring Kingdoms all fighting for control of Ecetia the central territory. In alphabetical order they are,

Cesedria(Green):

Their territory is Akelnar a continent to the South West, The United Kingdom of Cesedria is ruled by Sacred Queen Tivarece. A royal elf, Queen Tivarece has many supporters and even more elf-hating detractors, luckily her bodyguard, Winvene, is always at her side. She is a true pacifist, and only believes in war as the last option.

Gevrandia(Purple):

The Gevrandian Empire is to the South East, on the continent of Strictor, The Gevrandian Empire rules the continent of Strictor with an iron fist.

They are a military society that has survived eras of conflict and birthed an aristocratic class of former warlords. Emperor Lyle C'Velda Geburand seeks to end the aristocrats' choke hold on the country, and bring a true society of equality. Brash and confident, Emperor Lyle believes it is his destiny to bring about this new world...

Hordaine(Yellow):

Oreole a continent to the North East, is home to the Kingdom of Hordaine. The kingdom of Hordaine is led by the charismatic Queen Wadritte Belkstein Hordaine. The overwhelming Charisma of Queen Wadritte inspires efforts to both calm the unrest in local regions and conquer the lands around the kingdom. The kingdom of Hordaine is the most youthful and active country in the land of Melpharia, yet remains fiercely loyal to the sometimes hot-tempered Queen Wadritte.

Netzavare(Red):

To the North West is the continent of Victorion, The Kingdom of Netzavare. The Kingdom of Netzavare controls all land on the Victorion continent. Said to be home of a witch in antiquity, many non-human species call this country home. Netzavare is relatively peaceful internally thanks to the rule of its beastly king, King Huenkel. This noble king was once human, now cursed by a witch to take a lion's form. He rules with kindness and compassion; while his ferocity in battle is legendary.

Yelsord(Blue):

Last but certainly not least the Kingdom of Yelsord, their kingdom is the continent of Pedestal to the North. The Kingdom of Yelsord controls all

of the land of the Pedestal continent. The current ruler is King Naiass, the Duke of Yelsord. His governance has resulted in a well balanced country that swells with power. The nation favors knowledge over might, and those under Naiass work to expand the domain of the kingdom of Yelsord. King Naiass Himself watches the plans for expansion with a careful eye, always eager to spread knowledge throughout the world...

There is also Vinelle Island where players can find the colosseum. The colosseum allowed players to fight small team matchs with friends or fight waves of enemies to earn Colosseum points. Colosseum points could be traded in for special items that let players change their class, reset their skills, or even buy some cash shop items. Later updates saw Dominion Flag; a capture the flag variant as a new mode. A Casino was also added where players could buy game tokens for Rings or Arbs to play Casino games. Most of the Casino games ran on Rings, a special type of currency in Fantasy Earth Zero. Rings could only be gathered by fighting in wars, and of coarse the better you did the more Rings you got. While you could only spend Arbs(Actual Money) on tokens. The token game was of coarse where it was at, 1 token per spin and a chance at a rare armor set or item.

For more info check out this link ( http://fantasyearthzero.wikia.com/wiki/Category:Kingdoms )

Do not fret to much over what nation to pick, any player can join any war going on at anytime with some special conditions! If the players nation is one of the Warring forces you must play on their side. If you disconnect from the battle or alt F4 you cannot join any other battles, except the one you left until the battle is over. If you rejoin the battle the game will keep your stats at the time you left and give them back to you when you rejoin. Just in case you were doing very well and got disconnected you could still get the rings and experience you deserved.

Now every continent has multiple areas or maps. These areas are connected to each other like a web and Nations can only declare war on areas they are adjacent to.

Tutorial---------------------------------------------------After selecting your Kingdom you would be teleported to the tutorial map. The tutorial map just like every other before it taught players movement and how to fight, as well as a few tips on playing the game. Players would have to complete three quests taking letters to different non-player characters' on the instanced maps.

The first was the Red letter traveling into the forest, players had to talk to every non-player character and follow their instructions to complete all the objectives in the quest. At the end players were met with a test to make sure they understood the basics. If you passed you could change your class up to level

ten, reset your skill points up to level ten, or warp back to base camp and start the next quest. You also had the option to go back and review anything at any time if you were not to sure on things or missed an objective.

Next was the Blue letter up the mountain. Players learned the finer things about the game like how to jump, sidestep, and trade items to others. Just like with the Red letter players were met with a test at the end. You could also go back to review or for any missed objectives.

Last up the Yellow letter between the mountains. Up until now players had just been learning basics, but now its time for some actual combat training. Players selected the instanced maps one by one and learned Battle strategies, you were also rewarded for completing each instanced map with armor and other valuable items.

Crystal Mining:

Crystals are the life blood of battle, players use crystals for Building and Summoning. Players would crouch down next to large blue crystals strewn across the map and gather crystals. They would then trade them back and forth to build or summon as fast as possible. After the war picked up players would start whats called a Bank, a player that will hold everyones crystals until they are needed. Banks tended to be characters over level Thirty, as the higher your level the more crystals you could gather. Banks were limited to Fifty crystals per player the amount needed for Summoning a Wraith.A low level players crystal limit is capped at whatever their level is, this way new players could learn the flow of battle without posing a serious threat to the Nations victory. Players also gained experience for mining crystals and it was encouraged to help new players level up. Crystals also had a yield limit to how many they would give out, overtime the crystal would go dull forcing miners to leave the Keep and find another. Crystals could also heal players injures, crouching next to them heals Hp at the cost of its max crystal yield limit. It is not recommended to heal from the Main Crystal if you do prepare to be kicked.

Building:

Players learned how to build buildings, after collecting enough crystals, (you had to trade with the nonplayer characters on the map) players were taught how to

build an important structure in the game the Obelisk.

Summoning:

Players learned how to summon and use Knights, Giants, and my favorite the Dragon.

Once you finish the last Battle you can talk to the main nonplayer character to get your reward if you finished all the objectives in all three quests. No test this time but you can still review anytime. The non-player character will then warp you to your Nations Capital were you learn about the shops and several other things from the non-player character's there. As well as a few Quests to help you level up and get into wars faster. Here is the link to the Quests. ( http://fantasyearthzero.wikia.com/wiki/Quests )

The Tutorial later saw the White Knight Program, Players applied for positions to help train and guide new players through the Tutorial in exchange for the White Knight Title. White Knights were also given special item's as part of the compensation for their time. Later on the the Tutorial was eventually updated and shortened, but the White Knights were always there waiting to offer some assistance if needed.

-----------------------------------------------------

Buildings---------------------------------------------------I will talk more about building next as you will find yourself doing alot of it. Fantasy Earth Zero's map was split into an eight by eight grid that can be seen in the bottom Right of this picture.

Now lets start with the most important structure first

Keep.

The

The Keep is your Armys spawn location and where crystals can be traded for summoning Knights and Chimeras. Players could also Enchant their Weapons and Armor if they had Enchantment stones. Enchanting temporarily improved

Weapons and Armor until the battle was over, but players could only add as many enchants as slots in the weapon. When players spawn on the map they start at the Initial Keep. This Keep always stays in the same spot and is always near a crystal for gathering. The Initial Keep is used by the Nation that currently controls that area. When five players from the same nation are on the map together they can build a Keep anywhere on the map and declare war. After a short amount of time the mobs will disappear and players will teleport to their Keeps starting the Battle. Keeps do not require any crystals to build.

The second most important Building is The Obelisk, Obelisks take control of territory on the map and cost fifteen crystals to build. Controlling territory causes damage to your enemies overall Morale. An Obelisks territory range is displayed on the map by a Blue circle with the Obelisk displayed as a triangle in the center. Obelisks can only be built inside of your territory line. Building an Obelisk or Ob allows you to see enemies inside the range. You are also doing more Morale damage to your opponent because you control more land. Obelisks level up as the battle progresses, the longer an Obelisk is on the field the more experience it gains. They start at level one and can level up to three. The higher the level the more Morale damage they cause and Hp they have. Obelisk's should be protected at all costs. Losing an Obelisk causes you to lose a big chunk of your Morale. All buildings destroyed cause Morale damage but the Obelisk is the highest. Attacking Obelisks is a term called Sapping, players form Sapping parties and try to destroy as many enemy obelisks as possible without being noticed. After being noticed Sapping parties usually have a heavy flood of players come after them helping divert attention from the front lines.

After Obelisks is The Eclipse, an Eclipse is just like an Obelisk but with a much smaller range they cost eleven crystals to build. An Eclipse can be build inside enemy territory unlike the much more potent Obelisk. Eclipses can be used mainly to spy on areas of interest, places you think enemies may try to Chim or flank you from, and areas you think they may try to expand to.

Next Arrow Towers, or AT's are defensive buildings that shoot arrows of coarse. Arrow Tower's can be used to create choke points and protect Obelisks. Nothing like an Arrow Tower blocking the exit of a narrow canyon or waiting to fire upon any who dare come for your Obelisks. Arrow Tower's cost eighteen crystals apiece.

The War Workshop

comes next, other wise know as a WW; War Workshops were used to summon Giants. A War Workshop will run you twenty crystals.

The Gate of Hades

or GoH is used to summon a Wraith, they are twenty crystals and there may only be one per army.

Scaffolds

are a neat little building, they cost no crystals to build but every player can only build one per battle. Scaffolds can be used as footholds, platforms, or even a shield.

The Bulwark,

Bulwarks are large walls that can be used to block paths. They cost thirty crystals and are very useful on bridges and in narrow canyons. You can also use them like an elevator to raise you to higher ground.

For all the Buildings info and more follow this link ( http://fantasyearthzero.wikia.com/wiki/Buildings )

-----------------------------------------------------

Summons---------------------------------------------------Next on the list is Summons, Summons are powerful creatures players can control by summoning them from their designated building using crystals. Just be careful if any buildings needed for a Summon are destroyed all current summons of that type will be desummoned.

Knights:

Knights are the third fastest Summon in the game. Knights are strong against all other Summon types and are used for bringing Summons down. Knights can be use as Knight Builders, these Knights are fed crystals and run around the map quickly building Obelisks. Knights also make great Harassers, Harrassing is a term used for players that attack enemies at their main crystal keeping them from gathering crystals and building. Knights can be summoned at the Keep for thirty crystals. They have a fast attack that can knock players over and a lance attack that has a large distance. Knights do little to no damage to human players and should mainly be used to escort and support friendly Summons.

Giants:

Giants can be Summoned from the War Workshop for thirty crystals. Giants are large slow moving units with shoulder mounted cannons. They can stomp and cause players at their feet to go flying, or they can fire their cannons at buildings for a crippling Area of Effect attack. Giants best worked in groups of two taking turns firing on enemy

Obs and recharging Pw in between.

Wraiths:

Wraiths are great anti-infantry Summons. They are a little bit faster then Giants and have Three attacks a powerful sword sweep, an ice mist that slows enemies, and a dark mist that blinds enemies near it. Wraiths can be Summoned for fifty Crystals from the Gate of Hades. Each Nation can only have one Wraith on the field at a time so if players want to summon another they must wait for the first to die. Wraiths should be used to escort Chimeras and for pushing the front lines.

Chimeras:

Chimeras or Chims for short were the most powerful summon. Players needed forty crystals and a special item called Chimera Blood to Summon it from the Keep. Chimera Blood had to be obtained through a repeatable non-player character quest where players had to buy an item called Capella Water and Find a Mob Drop from high level wolves called Beast Blood. Players then traded the non-

player character, they talk a second, and the non-player character gives you the Chimera Blood. Chimeras can only be summoned after your Nations Keep has lost its first Morale Bar and again after it has lost its second. Chimeras were a little faster than a normal player and had a poison debuff active from Summoning. Chimeras had five attacks, a two hit knock back claw attack, a long range lightning breath, a short range ice breath that Roots foes to the ground, fire breath that inflicts burning, and a Final Burst attack that can only be used next to the enemy Keep. Final Burst would kill the Chimera but inflict two full morale bars of damage to your enemy. Chimeras require heavy guard and should usually try and flank the enemy Keep. Once players spot an enemy Chimera it wont be long until its down and out. Players should notice the change in activity whether a Wraith is summoned, or all enemy summons disappear watch out for the Chim.

Dragons:

Dragons are by far my favorite Summon. They can fly high above the battlefield raining fireballs down on foes. Dragons are strong against Everything, their Fireball attack takes no prisoners inflicting high damage on anything and everything in its Area of Effect. Their Fireball also causes a stronger Burn ailment then other fire attacks. Dragons are the fastest Summon in the game because they can fly quickly over any object. Dragons were a lot trickier to Summon though, players had to be carrying an item called Dragon Soul. Dragon Souls had to be obtained from skeleton Mobs that only spawned during the night cycle on a non-warring map. After obtaining the Dragon Soul players would have to die while their Nation was Losing the Battle and only then you had a slight chance to transform. Battles were limited to Three Dragons only keeping the battle from becoming to unbalanced. There was no limit to the number of souls a player could carry, but having more

did not improve your chances of changing.

Chariot:

Last is the Chariot, Chariots are mainly used for their charged knock downs as it has the same property as a Blaze Slash, and the Fencer's Strike Down. This can only be used around the Keep as they can only regenerate power at the Keep. Basically an anti-base camping measure. It can also be used as a troop transport carrying players quickly to the front lines. Chariots are the second fastest summon and cost twenty crystals to summon.

For better info check this link ( http://fantasyearthzero.wikia.com/wiki/Summons )

By now players had enough knowledge to effectively participate in Nation Wars as a Crystal Miner. When they reached level twenty players could equip strong enough weapons and armor to match others and could move out on their own. Players then could decide what role to take up, whether they wanted to be a Harrasser, Knight Builder, Crystal Miner, Sapper, or just battle on the front lines.

Now even though Fantasy Earth Zero has been shut down in North America, the Japanese version of the game has seen many new updates including.

Chronicle Wars:

Chronicle Wars introduces new war

modes with certain objectives for victory such as: Crystal Mining or Stealing, Building and Sapping, Attacking and Defending supply carts, Team Deathmatch, Breaking through a Fortress, or Capturing a Castle.

Ballista:

A new summon for Chronicle Wars. It only costs twelve crystals to summon and there can only two out at any given time. You can not de-summon them but you can leave the Ballista and have someone else take control of it. On some maps it is restricted to an ally obelisk area of influence range, and in other maps the ally Keep area of influence range. Its main function is to take hits as it is immune to all debuffs, then deal out Area of Effect damage or cause flinching. Only the ballista's second attack will flinch Emboldened Warriors. Developers also have plans to implement the Ballista into normal wars. And most recently a crossover with

of Heroes series.

Fantasy Earth Zero was such a unique game and in my opinion a true gem of gaming. No other game has even come close to Fantasy Earth Zero and with no plans for one like it in the works, Fantasy Earth Zero fans like myself find themselves dishearted. But thanks to Sephy-Kun the creator of the Bring Back Fantasy Earth Zero Movement, fans of the series have found a ray of hope in the form a petition for the games re-release in North America. Fans plan to fight until the end refusing to let a great game die for something so shallow as bad graphics.

The Movement has even gained its own mascot by the name of Harpy Down. He can be found floating around the petition site urging others to sign. The petition now has a little over 400 signatures and is still growing everyday! Now this is where you come in, if you want to help us bring back this one of a kind gaming experience and finally have a chance to experience the masterpiece yourself go and like the Bring Back Fantasy Earth Zero page at, ( http://www.facebook.com/BringBackFantasyEarthZero ) and make sure to sign the petition over at, ( http://fantasyearthzero.marz.mobi/ ).
