COURSE DESCRIPTION This is the first course in the calculus series. It starts with topics on functions and graphs, limit and continuity, techniques of differentiation and its applications. It also covers simple integration and its applications.

COURSE OUTCOME At the end of the course(Course Outcome (CO)), students should be able to: CO1: State the properties of function, limits and continuity, techniques of differentiation and integration (C1, P2, A1) CO2: Compute limit, continuity, derivatives and integrals (C2, P2, A2) CO3: Solve problems involving differentiation and integration (C3, P3, A2) CO4: Sketch the graph of polynomial or rational function using calculus (C3, P4, A2)
