Answers: 1. (a.) Yes, Agnes was responsible for her behavior. (b.) Agnes was responsible for her behavior because if she wanted to go to school on Monday morning she shouldnt have exhausted herself the previous night. If she really didnt want to miss her class then she should just rested at home, or do something more productive. (c.) If I were Agnes, I would practice personal organization. I will set my priorities and do what is more important before doing not-soimportant things. And as a student one of my top priorities is to go to school, and that would be the first thing that I would do. Then maybe I can go have fun later. 2. (a.) Yes, the civil engineer is responsible for his decision. (b.) The civil engineer is responsible for his decision because hes the one who made it, no one but him would be responsible for a decision that he made. Hes the one who thinks for himself, not other people. (c.) If I were the civil engineer I would practice self-discipline. We all know that there are disciplines that each career practices. But that is different from self-discipline. Self-discipline is deeply rooted from ones morality. Through self-discipline we develop the good in us. If the civil engineer would practice self-discipline, he would know that his work shouldnt just benefit him. No matter how expensive a project is if he has self-discipline he would choose the best materials to guarantee that the project wouldnt be a failure. Thus, he can take pride in his own art.
3.
(b.) Help the child at once For me, situations like this doesnt require critical thinking, Im pretty sure I would act out of impulse and help the child at once. Because if I think slowly I would just panic and in turn wont know what to do, then Ill realize the child has already fallen. That would be tragic! Its like what I do when one of my things, a ball pen for example, I dont think about catching it, I just do it involuntarily. And in this kind of situation I think my involuntary muscles can act accordingly.
4. (d.) Know the owner and return the money I dont care if I dont know who the owner is, or how in the world will I find him, but I will! Its against my morality to use the money for my personal needs. Also I dont have to think if its right to give it back to the owner because I know thats what I have to do, and honestly I dont really trust barangay captains, well you cant really blame me for it because of what I hear on the news and such right? So the best way is to do my own research and hunt that person, and then return the money! Then maybe Ill get a reward! YAY!! 5. NO! I dont think its right! Why would I buy basketball shoes?! Thats not what I want. Kidding aside, the behavior is wrong because thats not even my money. Its the money that my parents worked hard for; I will definitely feel bad if I use it on my own interests, and as Ive said before its against my morality to use someone elses money. As a student, school matters first! Instead of using my parents money to buy shoes, Ill just work well in my studies for my parents to know that Im not wasting away with their money and efforts.
