JCI New Training Policy Explanation Note

1 February 2013
JCIHK Training & Development Council

Message from 2013 TDC Chairman

Dear Fellow JC Trainers and Members, First of All, it's my great pleasure to serve you as the Training & Development Council (TDC) Chairman in 2013. JC Trainer is a very meaningful role both for personal development and for promoting JCI movement via knowledge transfer to members. Over the last few months, you may have already heard from different channels that JCI globally is undergoing a big change on JCI Training System, which is True. As the changes have passed in World Congress in Nov12 and most details have been confirmed by end Jan13, I wish to provide you an update on the New Training Policy, so that you can understand well your future path to be a JC Trainer! While the changes is fundamental, I want to re-assure you that under the new system, 1) More and More members who have deep JC experience and passionate for Training can actually join us as Trainers with lower threshold; 2) All Qualified Trainers under Old System, whether you are Full Member or Senior Member, can Continue being JCI Course Trainer with some adaptation; 3) More and More Meaningful Courses will be launched to help our members better create social impact to community and open up training opportunity for trainers. To assist your understanding on the New training system (I have to admit that the changes are quite complicated), TDC has created this explanation ppt to guide you through the key changes. To implement the new training policy is one of the top priorities of 2013 TDC. You are more than welcome to connect to me or other TDC members if you have any inquiries. Regards, Eric Lin 2013 Training & Development Council Chairman, JCIHK
