Dear Sirs,

I am also completely against any segregation of human demographics on the basis of castes, creeds, or religions, but we need to recognize that this segregation is the part of psychological tendency in the humans through which they differentiate themselves from others on the basis of their acquired or inherited traits. This is how classes or castes developed in every civilization, and its pity that in India, it emerged in a very discriminating manner. As in every civilization/ society development of such a segregation and a consequent conflict among those classes was inevitable, our forefathers gave a very progressive system, where someone had to 'earn' a good status in society by his 'Samskaras' and 'Karmas' not by mere birth. This was the most beautiful part of our Varna system which was purely based on virtues and completely against discrimination. The discriminating started when ignorance about Shastras prevailed and we started feeling glorified through using our surnames and ignored the virtues, which was completely against the clear dictations of our forefathers. What we are doing is completely against the dictations of Shastras. What we are doing is we Even on this page I can notice that all the gentlemen are using their surnames along with their names just bcz they do feel glorified while establishing associating with that particular caste. In this case, we need to understand it carefully that Shastras dictated completely opposite manner that someone is not Sabhlok, Thakur, Verma or Sharma, mere by birth in this regard by putting emphasis on earning the title on the basis of virtues. Along with their names and at the same time they are condemning caste system. This is the perfect case of ignorance where we are behaving against the dictations of Shastras and blaming them for the prevailing problems.

Even today, its prevailing, we are ignoring the clear dictation of Shastras and bolshily using our surnames to falsely glorify ourselves. For examples, I notice here people who are condemning It is very unfortunate that we are unable to perceive the true logic behind this system just because we don't accept our Shastras.

But ignorance made us to feel glorfied using the surnames gloried with our surname and started others oppression on the basis of that. For example, all the gentlemen both who have condemned or supported our Varna system are using their surnames with their name, like Sabhlok, Sharma, Thakur, Verma, Sharma, just bcz they feel glorified, but its an ignorance.
