Other speakers will be derived from our team of MMBC experts/teachers in areas such art, dance, music and theater. Course Goals The overall goal of this course is to provide a joy of Christ through the study of major Bible stories and concepts. It is our prayer that lessons will be taught in a creative fashion toward fostering a life-long love of Bible study and learning in general. Although this is a class for high school students, the content and presentation is structured much like an introductory level college course in an effort to prepare students for life after high school. Course Objectives Students who regularly attend this course will learn about: * Major Bible stories and concepts * The birth, life, death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ * How one can research, prepare and present lessons * How to apply Bible history to modern day issues and problems * What/why we believe, and why we do certain things in church * Ways to share the Gospel message with peers and strangers Expectations Be...On Time
Given our busy, but blessed class schedule, it is important for students to arrive at 9:30 a.m. sharp. Late arrival can be disruptive to both the teacher and other students.
Be...Polite & Respectful Students are expected to strive for Christ-like behavior which respects both the teacher and fellow classmates. Be...Open & Welcoming to Guests Parents, guardians, friends and other guests are always welcome in our classroom without an appointment. Guests are anticipated for every class session and students will therefore always be on their best behavior. Be...Prayerful Above all, be prayerful for the success of the class and fellow students.
