ABSTRACT TITLE: - PHARMACY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

INTRODUCTION: - Today management is one of the most essential


features of all form. Management provides sophistication to perform any kind of task in a particular form. This is PHARMACY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM. It is used to manage medicine in medical store. By using some scenarios we can see it in detail, which is as below (A) Ideal scenario: To perform the task efficiently system should have basic required peripheral. As we know that PCs dont have common sense to analysis mistake so user has to provide all instruction. There are some points which is supposed to done by user as1. Enter the name of the medicine and its respected composition. 2. Enter the price of medicine, tax and applied VAT on each item. 3. Enter the rack number and location in the store where it has been stored. 4. Enter manufacturing date and expiry date along with medicine details. 5. Store the medicine in ascending or descending order by its name so that it can find easily. (B) Existing scenario: Medicine is not supposed to use after its expiry date, so expiry date should display on the screen to avoid this problem. There are few points regarding to this situation, which are as below1. Every morning enter the new medicine name and remove the name which has been finished yesterday and no more available in the store. 2. Expiry date should be display on the screen every day or two to three time in a day to recall the user. 3. Pre expiry date should also be display every day so that medicine can return or exchange with respected distributer and escape medicine form wastes. 4. If any kind of variation is taking place in price or composition of medicine then these details should be update instantly. This may lead the form towards profit and maintain customer trust.

5. To bill the amount, the shopkeeper has to give receipt which is consist of medicine sub-rate, vat/ tax charged, discount and total amount for it. 6. Receipt back side should contain basic description about exchange, exchange time, working days and weekly holy day (if there is). (C)Proposed scenario: As it is mini project because its area are limited for a single shop or form only. But later it can use for major project when this is used for two or many medical store in the city. There may involve these following steps1. This is related to real life and easy to apply and use. 2. There are many medical store around city, state and even country also. 3. In some medical show rooms medicines are store according to its composition not by name but this type of stores are rare. 4. This system can be used on web base. Scope/ application:There are its advantage/ scope of this system which is as followingA. Task becomes easy and relevant when one uses this management system. B. It reduces the time consumption to provide medicine. C.It reduces the number of assistant in the form, because PCs can do multi task at a time. D.This system is easy to operate. Anyone who has basic knowledge of computer can do this task. E.If there are many medical stores in the other shop in the city and a shopkeeper wants details about some medicine who is not there, then there is no need to waste money by calling but he should search on line.
