Badminton Lesson - ICT

The lesson plan outlines a double badminton lesson for year 7 students that aims to teach serving and returning skills through warm up games, basic skill practice, using the Ubersense app to analyze technique, and minor games to apply skills. Students will use Ubersense to film each other performing skills, compare techniques in slow motion, and provide critiques to help correct one another. Prior knowledge expected is a good understanding of using the Ubersense app from previous PE classes where it has been incorporated throughout the year.

ICT Ubsersense The ICT component of my PE class of badminton is to allow students to use the app Ubersense. Can be downloaded on iphones or ipads. Ubsersense allows users to record another performing a skill. They are then able to: - Frame by frame slow motion analysis and zoom - Compare videos side by side or overlay - Create and share video reviews with audio http://www.ubersense.com/learn_more
