Image Quality
IC-601 has Color filter that make mapping optimized to the color gamut of engine and the profiler can switch the mapping algorithm by the types of connected engine types.

The Preserve Mid-Tone and Preserve Solid

With these functions, colors which are converted by the selected profile can be preserved as pre-conversion colors. Preserve Mid-Tone With this setting, a color composed only of a simple color before color conversion can be reproduced as a color composed only of that color even after color conversion.

Screening Function

The settings of Screening can be specified which are applied to all Text, Graphics and Image data in the page. Screening has two options.
Fixed Screen Different screens (Dot, Line) can be set for Image and Text/Graphics respectively. Custom Screen

AM Screen

Tone is expressed by the size of dot. Screen angle is available. When multicolor printing is selected, and moir might appear.

FM Screen

Tone is expressed by the density of fine dot. Screen angle is NOT available. Moir and Tone jump dont appear.

Outline Processing
The IC-601 Hikari controller supports several functions to provide most accurate Font and Letter Quality

Thinning for Text thinning / Reversed text enhancement Emphasis for Halftone text enhancement Auto trapping, when Text thinning is specified, using this function can prevent text from being effaced.

Crop Marks for Off-line finishing process

Below options are supported Corner (4 places) Center (2 places) Corner/Center Below three type of Crop Marks are supported. (Corner only)

Booklet Splitting
Select Booklet Pages per Section Number of pages per a Booklet

e.g. The job has 16 pages and set 8 for Page per Section. 1st Booklet: P.1-8 2nd Booklet: P.9-16 Total 2 Booklet will be produced. The job has 16 pages and set 7 for Page per Section. 1st: P.1-7 & a Blank page 2nd: P.8-14 & a Blank page 3rd: P.15-16 & 6 Blank pages Total 3 Booklet will be produced.

Needless Tab Ejection

Ejects needless tab paper to the sub tray of the same finisher. This function is designed to prevent the rest of tab papers from being used for the next job accidentally.

The Colour Management tool on IC-601 is called Color Centro and is standard on the controller

Color Centro supports both High-end user and Entry user demands Apart from general functions such as calibration and profile management, it also possesses the convenient function color configuration management

What is Color Centro ?

Important process for using printer in good color continuously. Manages the CMYK value to print each spot color. Copies and deletes ICC profiles and it enables to create /edit new ICC profile.

Tone Curve enables color adjustment easily, includes brightness and contrast.

Enables to convert RGB/CMYK input value into specified CMYK value.

Change Colour default settings.

A package of Profile Sets that accommodates all paper types for printing.

Calibration
Calibration is an adjustment of the machine to print accurately and stably. Calibration regularly can maintain the stable print-out image.

Tone Curve Adjustment

Adjust Each Color Select each color combination for the adjustment.

Brightness/Contrast Adjust all color curves by the brightness and contrast.

Spot Color
Managing CMYK values to print each spot color when the spot color function of the job is active. Alternative Color

Color Centro has a powerful multifunctional profiler that includes DVs original CMS technologies.

Color Default Settings

Use this dialog to change the settings of color default settings when Color Configuration is not used.

Color Configuration Manager

Color Configuration is a new concept. All color settings are packaged in that. The operator can take the best printed sample.
With these feature sets, operators can easily complete assigning the profiles by selecting a Color Configuration when printing.

Color Configuration contains the following information: One or more Profile Set(s) Default Profile Set and Paper Type Default Color conversion option

The following features are included : HDD Backup Utility is used to back up and restore information on media installed in devices. Log Management Utility accesses Devices on the network and displays log. Font Management Utility is a utility that allows you to add and delete the fonts and the forms. Web Connection
Web Connection is a better way to check the status of bizhub printer/copier, it's a web-based network utility that provides detailed information on status and settings via standard web browsers. Gives each ineo device its own http server that can be accessed using standard web browser. Verify the system configuration and status of devices to make sure it's ready to print. Check paper supply, toner level and copy count, adjust print settings such as page layout and number of copies, and select paper and/or output trays. Configure one-touch scan destinations, scan-to-Email addresses, and settings for scan-to-FTP, scan-to-HDD, scan-to-desktop and more. System administrators can log into the Web Connection portal of an ineo device for full access to network configuration settings; end-user access is limited to checking status and adjusting configurations.
