Create M/s Modern Computer Private Ltd. Prepare a purchase order for purchasingthe following items from M/s Vimal Computers store. 10 standard keyboard @ Rs. 250 per piece. 5 Wireless keyboard @ Rs. 600 per piece The purchase date is 1st August, 2010 and the items are due on 4th August, 2010. The location is warehouse at Mahim. No taxes of any kind are applicable rocedure: 1.Unit of measure: To create unit of measure for the items select Gateway of Tally Inventory info Unit of measure Create option Unit creation window appears. In this window give the details about symbol, formal name and Number of decimal places of the unit of measure. i.e. set formal name : - set 2.Godown creation: To create godown first F11 key to open Company features window. In this window type yes for the option Maintain Multiple Godowns under the heading inventory features. After this select Gateway of Tally Inventory info Godowns Single godown Create option The Godown creation window appears. In this window give the details aboutthe new godown. E.g. Warehouse at Dadar. 3.Stock Item creation: To create the given stock item Select the Gateway of Tally Inventory info Stock Item Single Stock item Create option

The stock item creation window appears give the details about new stock item i.e. Standard Keyboard Wireless Key board For both these items give unit name Set. 4.Creation of Ledger: To create the ledgers M/s Vimal Computers store and Purchase A/c Select the Gateway of tally. Account info Ledgers Single Ledger Create option For M/s Vimal Computers store give the group sundry creditors and forpurchase give the group Purchase Accounts. 5.Creation of Purchase order: For this, first press F11 key to open Company features Window, in thiswindow type yes for the option Allow purchase order Processing & Multiple Godowns. After this to create the given purchase order Select Gateway of tally Voucher Entry Press F9 key and Select Purchase order In Voucher mode Press F2 and change the date o 1-8-2010 Party Name select M/s M/s Vimal Computers store from the list Give the order no. OM001 Give the name of item standard Keyboard Give due date 4-8-2010. Select the Godown warehouse at Dadar Give Qty 10 Give Rate Rs. 400 per set and enter twice In accounting Details window, Give the A/c Name purchase and press ENTER to the amount shown. Now follow the same procedure for the item wireless keyboard After all the details are given type the narration and press Enter, Press Y for accept and save the purchase order.
