Lesson On Causative Have

This document provides an exercise for students to discover the grammatical rule of the causative "have" structure. It contains sentences using the causative and asks students to identify the common element, which is an action performed by an expert or specialist for someone else. Examples are given like "Mary always has her hair dyed pink" or "I think Andy's having his tooth extracted." Students then analyze similar sentences to understand that the causative involves a subject causing an action to be done to an object by an underlying subject. Exercises ask students to identify the forms of "have," object, and past participle to fully grasp the causative structure.
