!e"iew In $honics this week we are going to continue to work through the $honics booklet I am looking to see some im$rovements as we have been s$ending a lot of time focusing on the $honic al$habet and on the vocabulary that is used throughout the booklet 3fter a review of the al$habet I will introduce the vocab in the booklet and the students will $ronounce it! break it down to s$ell and we will also use each word in a sim$le sentence 8orrections and feedback will be given 'ew (letters/s$un)s/"$cabulary* This week we are going to slowly start to introduce some blended words into the $honics classes now that we have a decent foundation of the $honic al$habet The sim$le blends we will look at are# $l and cr sounds and words +e will also e6$lore e6am$les of other sim$le blends to $re$are the students for later lessons Writing +ractice
This week we will continue to move through the handwriting booklet I am very im$ressed with the im$rovements of the students handwriting as we have been s$ending a lot of time ensuring the letters are written the correct way! sha$e and si1e slowly

%ight W$r)s I am going to continue to use the various sight words covered this semester when talking to the students! such as look! come! and here The students will be $ut into small grou$s and allocated 3 sight words which they are encouraged to try and use in a sentence
