Reforming Unit (Proposed VE-301 Flowrate) : A Objective
Reforming Unit (Proposed VE-301 Flowrate) : A Objective
A Objective :To determine overhead vapor and bottom liquid flowrate at existing temperature and to find out actual temperature to obtain required flowrate across VE-301by means change in assay molecular weight..
B Equipment Type1 C Basis:1) 2) 3) 4) Assay data provided by Axen is considered as VE-301 bottom liquid output and its molecular weight given is 95.5. Product characteristics contains recycle gas data and hydrogen generated in reforming section along with minor hydrocarbons is considered as overhead vapor output. Above both the streams are mixed and considered as feed to VE-301 operated at existing temperature coming from HE-302. Since, at existing temperature both overhead and bottom flowrate of VE-301 are deviating from required flowrate value ( see below data) hence ,temperature variation has been carried out at HE-302 outlet. G Conclusion :1 2 H Note :1 VE-301 bottom liquid flowrate molecular weight is to be decided. From the above study it Is clear that at existing temperature i.e 40 C vapor and liquid flowrate at VE-301 are deviated from their required flowrate i.e 7997 and 12561 kg/hr. For vendor given assay data and its molecular weight i.e 95 to obtain required flowrate as mentioned above temperature 30.26 C has to be maintained at HE-302 outlet.
