1. Andrew visits Vanessa to discuss a business deal involving double-glazed windows. Vanessa offers him $20,000, which Andrew accepts. 2. As Andrew leaves, an unknown hitman arrives at Vanessa's door. The hitman reminds Vanessa that she hired him to "take care of something". 3. THE HIT BY WARREN SIWALE

FADE IN INT. BEDROOM DAY ANDREW (20) is putting on his suit in front of the mirror. He puts on his shirt and buttons it up then puts his tie on and finally puts on his blazer. As he prepares to leave he almost forgets his briefcase but picks it up from the side of the door. CUT TO EXT. STREET DAY ANDREW is on his way to visit one of his buyers and as he approaches the door, he looks around and then presses the doorbell. VANESSA (21) hears the doorbell and slightly opens the curtains so that she can look out the window, ANDREW looks at the window and sees VANESSA, she then begins walking towards the door and before opening the door she takes a deep breath. As VANESSA opens the door, ANDREW looks around and then looks back at the door. VANESSA Youre a bit early ANDREW Better early than late VANESSA looks around to see if anyone is looking.

VANESSA Well come inside ANDREW walks in and closes the door behind him.

INT. SITTING ROOM - DAY They walk into the sitting room and ANDREW and sits down with VANESSA sitting opposite him, they both stare at each other blankly before VANESSA breaks the silence. VANESSA Would you like some tea? ANDREW Yes please VANESSA How many sugars? ANDREW None thank you VANESSA stares at him for a while before walking into the kitchen. As she puts the kettle on, ANDREW stands up and begins to look around the room. CUT TO EXT. STREET DAY An unknown man is walking down the road. CUT TO INT. KITCHEN - DAY The tea is ready and VANESSA walks into the sitting room and sees ANDREW looking around but doesnt say anything. ANDREW looks at her and sits back down when she hands him his tea and also takes a seat. They both drink their tea as they look at each other. VANESSA

So (pauses) howANDREW interrupts her. ANDREW Lets just talk about how much were looking at VANESSA 20,000? ANDREW looks at her in shock. VANESSA Is that too low? ANDREW No thats perfectly fine CUT TO EXT. STREET - DAY The unknown man turns into another road and fixes up his tie. CUT TO INT. SITTING ROOM DAY ANDREW leans over to grab his briefcase. ANDREW Well would you like to seeVANESSA interrupts him. VANESSA I dont want to see anything. Just pick the best one I trust your judgement ANDREW Well in that case, I guess its time for me to leave VANESSA Yeah, sure

They both walk towards the door and VANESSA hands him a bag. He looks at her and takes the bag as he walks out. She looks at him as he walks away and closes the door; she puts her back against the door and puts her hands on her face. CUT TO EXT. STREET - DAY

As ANDREW walks down the road, he takes his phone out and accidently bumps into a man. ANDREW Sorry The man looks at ANDREW with a blank face and continues walking. The man arrives at VANESSAs door and rings the doorbell. VANESSA opens the door and looks confused. The HITMAN looks at his watch and then looks at VANESSA. HITMAN Its 8:30 VANESSA Pardon? HITMAN You hired me to take care of something VANESSA realises who the man is and looks at him in shock. VANESSA Oh dear The HITMAN looks around to see if anyone is around and gently pushes VANESSA into the house and closes the door. CUT TO EXT. STREET DAY ANDREW dials a number on his phone and rings MR JONES (24).

ANDREW (over phone) Hello sir MR JONES (over phone) Yes Andrew I got 20,000 MR JONES (over phone) 20,000? For double-glazed windows? Well get over here and we can discuss this. ANDREW hangs up and continues walking. FADE OUT
