Manitoba 4H Ambassadors (2011-present) As a member of this organization, I have been able to act as a 4 H resource at club, area, and provincial levels while promoting 4H within and outside of the program. Ways of achieving this include providing learning experiences and being responsible adult role models for 4H members along with providing opportunities for senior members (ages 16-20) to stay actively involved in the program. This can be achieved by attending events held by clubs such as rallies, camps, or public speaking events. Volunteering for this organization has not only allowed me to maintain involvement with the great program but has also provided me with opportunities for leadership development, improved my communication and public speaking abilities, and also allowed for social growth. This year I am on the executive as the treasurer. Kindergarten Lunch Buddy (2009) When I was in grade 12, I spent my lunch hour in the Kindergarten room as a helper for the students so the teacher could have a lunch break. Helper at lunch time while children ate, as well as helping them to get dressed and out the door for recess in a timely manner.
