5th Grade Grandparents Day An invitation letter came home this week inviting 5th Grade Grandparents to come have lunch with their grandchild. Please be sure to return this form by Monday so the lunch ladies may have an accurate number of guests to expect for lunch.

Jump Rope For Heart We will have our Jump Rope for Heart event on Friday, Feb. 21. This activity raises money for the American Heart Association. If students wish to participate, they need to get a permission form from Mr. Coquerille. They may start collecting money from family and friends right away once they receive the collection envelope. Students are strongly encouraged to collect on-line if they are able. Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) This is a non-profit organization that serves the youth of Jennings County. The one fund-raiser that BBBS has is called Bowl for Kids Sake,

and it is scheduled for Saturday, February 15, 2014. If you are willing to sacrifice a little of your time & raise $35 in pledges (per person), BBBS would love to have you take part in this event. We are asking for teams of 4 people and hope that you will join us. Parent/Teacher Conferences Any parent that would like to schedule a conference on February 6th, should contact your childs teacher. Events for Children & Teens @ Jennings County Public Library Through February 8th Homework Help: Tuesdays

& Thursdays from 4:30-6:00 Growing Minds: February 4th from 5:30-6:30 (will be learning about Black History Month)

Scipio Scrapbook Club We will be meeting on Wednesdays in February. The Club is open to the first 20 students that sign up. The sign up papers will be sent home on the same day for all students. Please send your responses back as soon as possible if you wish to participate!
